Ok guy's i know i just came in here outta the blue,but i need some local help asap! my 87fc turbo will not start.ive dont the whole flooding process thing i put new plugs in Flushed the radiator changed oil.Put a new alternator on/belt.Please i really need help possibly somebody to come tell me what the problem could be.I say this in a hurry cuzz my stupid neighbors called the association on me.and gave me less then a week to move it.I would take it to holton auto,but just the towing alone i cant afford.it cost me 70 bucks to go from the painted wall on 34th, to the G-ville health and fitness center when it broke down on me. If anyone is willing to help me out ill PM you my number.if not im gunna have to sell it.

 

@OMG please make a thread in the 2nd gen section and someone will help you. Make sure you let everyone know the procedure was that you did to try and unflood it such as pull the EGI fuse, etc.

 

I only put it here because i was hoping somebody IN G-VILLE would be able to come go outa there way to help me out.but i guess not.

 

You will get more help if you post this in its own thread and call it "Help in Gainesville" and list step by step what methods you have used to de-flood your car. Please don't use this thread.

All I've heard so far is you have no money and you have done some things that don't really have anything to do with de-flooding the car. Make a new thread about it in the SE Section forum and maybe someone including myself can help. Don't clutter up this thread and be more specific in your other please.

^JMaxx08 Where you coming from in Tampa. We can cruise up together if you want. We do usually eat their as well. And the last couple times its been on the outside patio that way we can stare at the cars and girls at the same time.

Ah, yes. The patio. Good plan. I can see you've got it all figured out.

I'm in New Tampa off I-75, so it's a straight shot for me. I'll say "maybe" on the cruise up together. I've been in caravans before. You know how it goes. It starts out cool. Everyone is cruising at 75 mph.
Then it creeps up to 80-85, with bursts to 90 and above.
Pretty soon some little sh*tbag in a black primer paint Honda with a sewer pipe exhaust starts dicing between the truly fast cars. "This loser needs to be taught a lesson" and well, you know the rest. I'm not sure my license can handle it.

But if I look definite on a leaving time, I'll PM you.
(Incidentally, if I do anything on the 8th, it'll probably be the Winter Park Conours.
So, that means I'm pretty much out of the Ft. DeSoto meet. It looks like it's Ocala or bust for me as far as rotary events go. Sounds like it's gonna be fun.)

Well, I'm certainly sorry you feel that way about rotaries...they are not for some people. That being said, if you had taken the time to create a thread that was relevant...meaning not to post about your engine issue in a thread about a meet...you would have had a better response.

I would have been more than happy to help you but since you were unable to follow directions, I'm going to assume that you were not willing to listen to any advice myself or someone else might offer.

You come across as very young and on behalf of the board we all wish you best of luck with your Honda...what Junkyard did you send the 7 to?

 

Haha i don't have a Honda.i have a Nissan,and yes its a 240 but i never said it was better then the rx-7.im just frustrated that i am almost being forced to sell a car ive wanted since i was 15.and due to my little knowledge i wont have the time/know how to find out if it will even start or if i did blow an apex seal.and i still have the 7 i don't have the heart to get rid of her i just said it cuzz i was mad.I'm trying to keep it as long as i can lol.and i put my thread in the new mem technical.just cuzz my post count was still low.
