So Rotary Buddha and I were talking. How does a Sunday, during the day meet sound? Where we can actually SEE our cars. Although the Mellow Mushroom is a great location (I can see if it is available on a Sunday afternoon) we could also look at an alternative...like the Waldo Road Sonny's. Lots of space + Sonny's!

Anyone want to throw out some thoughts? I'd like to do this in the next 3 weeks or so.

As some of you know, i dont live in g-ville, so ill have to drive over there.

Orrrr, i can call up Mobile Revolutions and see if we can have it in there parking lot.
Its really big.
Its right past the interstate on the left on University, and I know the guy there somewhat.

That is the real trick, isn't it? To me the Mellow Mushroom is perfect for under 12 cars because you can park right next to the deck where everyone can sit and the owner owns an RX7...can't get better than that! =)

Parks and Pavilions are nice but then it's like, ok...where is the food? Maybe it's because I'm a big guy but food = important. Either that or I eat the smallest/slowest out of everyone who shows up if I get hungry!

Sonny's parking lot = bigger space plus I don't think many people think that Sonny's sucks...I know myself, Tory, Gunnar, and Deo would disagree with you on that for certain...plus I believe Sonny's on Waldo is only about an hour from Jax so maybe we can get some of those guys to show.

The good news is both Deo's 10TH AE AND my 'vert are both running now. So the puts me in the, "I actually have two running RX7s" club!

I think Fred has made his request clear...heheh. My only concern about FSU weekend would be...
1) Isn't that Thanksgiving Weekend? Someone find me a Calendar stat!
2) Might not be able to do Mellow Mushroom since they are typically busy on a game Sunday but will ask.

Ok guys...we have two options. We can do Sunday the 17th at 4PM at the Mellow Mushroom...or if someone truly wants to make this something that maybe people from Jax and elsewhere can attend...is there anyplace in say...Starke we could meet? Sorry...I don't know anything about what is between Gainesville and Jax.

I'd like to meet as many owners as possible and if you Jax guys tell me what park you used to have your meetings at, I'd be happy to coordinate that with some help and maybe in December try and get a big meet together over there with Jaxm Gville, maybe S. Georgia people, Tally, etc.

when we used to have big meets in gainesville(gainesville/jax/orlando/other rx7 people) we had it at San Felasco park off 43rd st. Near tv20 and *** cable. There is a big park with a bunch of parking pavillians, BBQ grills etc. Although i don't own a 7 anymore i will still come with my SC if it is on a saturday

Really would like to have a rolling caravan, meet in a couple of places from the North/Central and roll in together. The video from that would be added to DIRECTFREAKS VIDEO from the South caravan. This will help people recognize the amount of Rotary Power in the EastCoast like they do in Cali and other areas.
