I know Jim can't make it (Silver FD) but I've put the word out also to Brave Potato, Gustav, and a few more guys I don't think you've met (2nd and 1st gen guys). I know that Charlie is in the middle of a swap or something and is going to ride with me and I don't think BR's GSL-SE will be ready yet either...it's a shame...had potential for a decent caravan...hopefully when we get Ramy's official date we can all get together locally.

I want to join the fun! My car's a bit ugly due to a hit and run incident (Ugh), but it still runs. Count Sam and I in.

Yeah, someone hit me in Ballyhoo's parking lot, and I didn't see it until my shift ended. I'm waiting until Sam's car gets out of the shop (TT swap) to put mine in since it's still drivable.

Sam and I somehow lucked out and got a Saturday off, so, yes, we are definately going to make it. Noon at Lowe's sounds good.

Sounds good, 12 30 would be better for me if thats okay with you guys, I will be in Orlando in the morning for the cars N coffee meet so need some time to get back. I believe its a Lowes that is their. Keep me updated.

 

It doesn't matter too much to me, but I volunteered to bring buns, condiments, and veggies for the burgers...kind of vital stuff for a cook out. I know the official time to start is 1:00, and the grilling at 1:00-1:30.

I would like to be there around then, so I would still rather leave at noon, if possible. I'm always late to these gatherings because of work, and for once work won't get in the way, so I'de like to be on time.

 

12:30 at the new Lowe's on 13th St sound good to everyone? It's down by 50th Ave I think.

Hmmn, 50th Ave?
Isn't it the one acrossed the street from Wal-Mart before 39th on the NW side of town? Am I thinking of the right one?

 

There is one further down that is new...can't remember but I think it is a Lowe's...might be a Home Depot. Not the one that is between NW 23rd Ave and NW 39th Ave...this one is further down...about a 1/2 mile past where NW 6th St merges with 13th St/441.

Do a Google search on Gainesville, Florida Home Depot. It should come up as the "B" location. If anyone has a better meeting spot, let me know but I was under the impression this one was heading in the right direction since you just shoot down 53rd to Waldo-ish area.

So meet at noon. If anyone would like to suggest an alternate meeting location, doesn't bother me at all.

Ha HA!!! Hopefully.. i am wrong.. but however my FD had been sitting for a year i just got the fuel pump in but now the battery is dead.. so i have to wait to jump start it.. but by this point, getting it to run may be the least of my problems.. the engine is probably bone dry and the oil needs to be changed.. probably the rad fluid as well .cracked seals. and i also have a flat RF tire so getting it start may be the least of my problems.. if it had been the fuel pump this whole time .. im going to be pretty pissed.. but if it does start .. you may want to have the fire dept on standby...

 

so whats the final time and location? meet is tomorrow
