Ok better than my short notice post before we got this together a little earlier. We are going on about a 3 hour drive through the back roads of East Tennessee. We will be leaving from the Airport Hilton at 11 am. Sunday the 24th of February. Send me a pm if you want the itenerary. I will be sure to have printed directions for you on that Sunday morning if you let me know you are coming. Come on out and let's have a blast. If their are any question you can pm me or post here. Although most of the group met because we have Z.s in general, we hope anyone who is a car enthusiast will come ride with us regardless of your favorite car to drive. Whoa, what's the deal with those links? I didn't know Spam sponsored car clubs. Anyway, which back roads are we talking about? If you're leaving from the airport I'm thinking 129, Foothills Parkway, Blue Ridge Parkway, etc.

We are gong to leave the Airport Hilton and travel backroads to 129 on up the Dragon. Hit the Cherhola loop and come on back 129. If you want the exact route send me an e-mail and I will make sure I send you the map. If you plan to go it would be grat if you let me know that to so we will not leave anybody if they are a few minutes late.

Eh I probably won't be down this time... I've run 129 the past two weekends in my turbo car, so naturally gas is taking a toll on my wallet. I've been wanting to run the Skyway for awhile now though, so maybe we'll get to do it again sometime soon. Cody, if you still wanna go and need someone to hold a camera and keep you from crashing again, let me know.

Have you guys mapped out the route yet? Couldn't find it on the page. Are we taking 129 to the Skyway or vice-versa?

 

Yo, Myself and Derrick will be joining up on 129, I live off 129. soo thats way closer for myself.

 

Let me check the route and make sure they got it up. I have one that was personally mailed to me but can.t copy it and place it on the forum. If you know how or want me to forward it to your e-mail let me know.

It was great meeting eveyone and today even with the messed up weather was great. Loved your FC and I hope you and many others will join us for the next ride. I also hope the sky will be clear and warm as personally moist black top makes me nervous even though no one seemed to slip badly at all. Our next ride will be in March and I will let you know the particulars.

 

Nice meeting you guys (and girls) as well! We'll definitely have to do it again. I'm planning on bringing one of mine out next time. When I get my pics uploaded and online I'll post them in this thread for everyone.

 

Thanks MARV!!! I had a blast even if myself and Derrick showed up tail *** late, I love z's and the guys in the STI with that roof mount cam got me hooked from the first look! I found a set-up Im going to get, hopefully you will get to see my wide body FB, Im thinking of hitting the dragon this coming weekend, taking up my "Brick"

But once more, Nice meeting you. Love to do this more often, maybe have a cookout afterward at my place, im right off 129 as you go back to Maryville... Cody and Jimi ( black GTU FC) Came abck and had some dinner with us.
