EGI fuse problem!!!

My EGI fuse keeps blowing out on me!! I thought that I had a fuel pump problem, but I replaced the fuse and my car ran fine for a few around town trips, and then blew out for no apperent reason. I replaced it with a spare I had, and that one blew out after about a mile. I have another one in the car now, and it runs fine, but I am scared to drive it and be stuck somewhere. Has anyone had this same problem? I could use some help on this issue. Thanks!!! I want to make the SOFLa meet tomorrow, so any help would be great!

I was getting the same problem, i got a 3rd gen single turbo, and the problem was that one of the solenoid cables on the rast nest was touchinh the injector rail and short out the circuit, belive me i whent to a lot of the pink fuses and still have some spare ones just in case, i tap the end of the cables with some heat shrink and problem solve, no more egi fuse trouble, hope this help

Damn right he gets all the credit!!!! I have no clue how he found that wire, it was nowhere close to anything to do with the fuel pump or the fuses. He is the friggin man!!!!!!! Thanks!!

Yep Edgar is an example of rotary magic, how he found that wire in 2 minutes is beyond me. I was under that hood for hours and hours, and would have never thought to check there. Car is still running fine!
