I was up at the dragon right after sunset tonight. I saw one cop (Blount County I think) leaving but that was it and traffic was pretty light. If we leave the dealership between 5 and 5:30, we should still have an hour or so of light.

Last I checked the weather was looking good, there might be a little rain early in the morning but it's supposed to be clear and in the low 50's in the afternoon. So it won't be summer breezes but I'll take it, it's a lot better than 30's.

What ever you do, don't listen to the Weather Channel. I seriously think they just draw temperatures and precipitation conditions out of a hat.

Oh, and yes Hellbent, I went and did that. I thought about stopping by but then... I didn't

Woot! Those cabins were nice. Too bad we couldn't get a shot of all the cars at the Lookout. Two more things for that first aid kit... duct tape and 5 quarts of oil!

 

I dug this, we need more! yeah, and maybe a CABIN for a WEEKEND??
