Thats fine TwEaK. Im in no big hurry at the moment. I can score junkyard 5-lug conversion at anytime but the 4 lug hub will be a temp fix until i can completely refurbish the other parts. Though I am sorry to hear that you are junking the car.....It would seem like a nice candidate for a V8 conversion if you had the time....

Yep sure did.

It is now the loudest street driven car on earth. (not proud)

The only thing louder I can think of right now would be another bridgeported NA with the 10:1 RX-8 rotors.

You can feel the exaust pulses in your chest...

I finally got the new motor in it and its vibrating like mad.....ill still come up to th emeet but this is a safety and motor issue....dont want the internals to blow cuz i decided to use my original flywheel when i put in the new motor(the new motor was from a 87 GXL and was an auto)

Get off the exit turn right and stay on winfield dunn parkway (the road you exit onto). Continue down that road, and you you will come to a krogers on the right. There are a few petrol stations around, and some returants closeby. (If it's raining, substitue plans can be made easily.)

I know man...but it seems the closer it gets to meet time the more i find wrong...like today, as i let her idle in the parking lot at work I noticed a minor fuel leak....along with the oil leak and the bad vibes....shes going in for surgery the week I get my 89 up and runnign to full speed. So pray she makes it for the meet guys, cuz the next time you get to see her she will be much much closer to her finished look....i hope

I am all about Rotary meets, especially when they are in my backyard but this is the worst possible weekend of the year for this meet. The drive in the moutains and back will take a minimum of 4-5 hrs and this will be in 5mph traffic. I managed a rental company in Gatlinburg for the last 4 years before I recently quit. I love the idea just not until atleast the middle of Nov. From exit 407 to Gatlinburg alone will take atleast 2 hrs. Just trying to give you guys a heads up.

Im guessing you guys are going to reschedule then???? I would love for you guys to get a big meet together but I think it would be much smarter if you waited about 2-3 weeks. For the people who dont know the back roads they will be absolutely miserable trying to find their way around. Hell even if you do know the backroads it will be miserable

Yea, I lived there for a while I know alot of back roads. If it rains were aren't going to drive, we'll just find a place to chow down and hang out.

With the leaves, then rain on top of that, in the mountains, I would prefer to drive in unpacked snow.

OK... so...rain... bad traffic.

I'd say we just go and eat at a restaraunt, hang out, and go from there.
