Driver Ed - The Dark Side Returns to RRR Nov 7-9
Hello and thank you for letting me post.
The Dark Side will be at Roebling Road Raceway offering a Driver Ed for all marques on Nov 8-9. We run 5 groups from Novice up to Instructor.
The track is hosting a lapping day for Friday, Nov 7. (Lapping days are for people who have lots of seat time and have been solo at Driver events.) Two run groups - one with passing on the straightaways, the other passing anywhere with a point.
We start the Dark Side with tech at the track Friday - then onto our host hotel for hospitality (pizza, beer, wine, soda). Saturday morning is the DE - where we will be joined by The Boys & Girls Club of Hilton Head Island. (They will be given a special classroom instruction, lunch and a Family Parade.) We ask our participants if they wouldn't mind coming out for the Family Parade and allowing a boy or girl to jump in for 2 laps.
Saturday night ends with BBQ at the track as we all unwind to the sweet sounds of Annie Allman, there in person.
Sunday we continue for the hopefully, uneventful event we all showed up for.

If you were scared of doing Driver Eds because your insurance company would not insure you - fear not. Our group, The Dark Side has been approved as an HPDE by Lockton-Affinity, and you can now, if you are a participant, insure your car for our 3-day event, all at one handy dandy price.
