Drive to DGRR
Hello all, I was going to make the trip from south Florida to DGRR. I wanted to leave around midnight when there isn't any traffic on the roads. Does anyone know if the gas stations along the way close at night or can I make the trip without getting stuck or spending the night?
Thanks

If you stick to the interstates your fine. It takes me about 9 hours to drive from near Gainesville FL to Asheville, NC. I take Hwy 221 and never have any issues, but the time is the same on the interstate, you just use more fuel. Take I-95 N to I-26 W.
Depending where at in South Florida you are, add about 4 to 5 hours to that time. You can do it without stopping, just set up a nice play list! Nothing but country stations from Ocala to Greenville!

Ive done the trip last year in my 7
I-75 i took up to ATL and spent the night at a friends house. My water temps were over 100* on the way up
I-95 i took back down from DGRR where the crew left at 8 and got home 12/13 hours later. My water temps were 96*. I got about 350 miles to a tank.
Filled up twice on the way to ATL from Miami.
