Shane?

Yah guys can't wait. Actually getting the car dyno tuned at Stage 6 on the 22nd after I get back in town. Can't wait. Hoping for close to 300rwhp on the twins. We'll see. Should be a good meet. Anyone get a chance to talk to Tom Bush about getting some money for the meet? They are always really helpful!

Tony G had the GTTT down at Daytona for the Turkey run. On a portable dyno there, it made over 1000 lbsft of torque and over 1100hp to the tires. Thing was trying to bend itself in half.

Guys I don't care what you drive. If you happen upon a red Ford GT with black stripes with flames in the stripes, just bow down and let him by. That thing is SICK!! Of course if you want some momentary excitement, challenge him....

Good luck on your dyno tune!! Those boys know what they are doing!!!

Later,
Bill

I will take care of that. I asked Brian to talk to Tom Bush Mazda for me this week. I would like to do some BBQ this time around from some place like Sonnys (any better places?). Are there any suggestions for how we could get the food warm for a couple of hours?

The time is 12 noon. Not sure of the address, but it is on the map Bill provided.

You can get sterno food warmer racks and trays at Sams pretty cheap. Get the big pans for water and the smaller trays for the food. Water is heated by the sterno and keeps the food pans warm. The trays are formed foil. The trays come I think 5 to a pack, and the racks are a few dollars a piece. The sternos come I think 8 to a pack. I happened to see them the other day when I was at Sams.

On another note, is anyone looking for a 1st gen? I have decided to sell the FB (The one I drove to the meet last year).

Last year before my heart operation, the voltage regulator went out on the alternator and spiked the ignitors. I replaced the alternator but not the ignitors.

If anyone is interested in it, I can pull it up there on the trailer. I can have a battery in it to crank over if someone wants to do a compression test on it. It was running fine until the alternator died.

We are moving and I have no where to keep it, even if I were still driving it. I am looking to get $1500 for her.

If no one is interested, we will just drive the vert. I'll have info and pics of the car either way.

Later,
Bill

Since I've gotten a supra I've been trying to arrange a meet. The community is just not the same with supra's. There are guys in jax with supras but none of them want to hang out though.

You guys are talking about doing too much work. I will check with Brian to see if he got the funds from Tom Bush Mazda. Food will be taken care of.

No. I was thinking BBQ from some place like Sonny's. I'm open to other BBQ places or any other suggestions for food.

Either way, let some place handle the food for us so we all can enjoy the meet.

If we pick the food up at Sonny's or whereever, the food warmer trays will be a good idea. I don't know how 'cool' it will be weather wise....
