Hello Everyone!

First of all, thank you for your interest in future "Rotaries @
Deals Gap" gatherings.

Our first event went amazingly well and it was all due to help of
fellow rotary owners.

As I mentioned before, my main goal of organizing these events are for
us to meet fellow rotorheads without costly event fees and such.

Recently, many rotary owners voiced their opinions about having a
gathering this coming fall.

Since RX8 owners are having their; "Brotherhood of the Dragon (BOTD)"
this fall (Sept 7 -11th), I've contacted the organizer and they have
cleared with me that we could come up and hang out with them for one
day (Sept. 10th, 2005). If you are interested in joining BOTD, cost is
$50 and you could part take in all their event. For more info goto:

But if you don't want to take part in BOTD, we will gather informally for one day @ the Deals Gap (free!). No sponsorship,
no free lunch, and no door prizes. I will however, will try to get
discounted lodging and local restaurants.

If we could pack 4-5 people in each cabin, lodging should be around
$50-75 for 2 nights.
Also, all the cabins have stove, refridgerator, dishes and etc. So, we
could also cook and hang out.

Dates are: Friday night Sept 9th thru Sunday morning Sept 11th

Friday, we'll meet at Fontana village and maybe have a cookout
Saturday, Cruise to local diner for lunch, meet up with RX8 owners,
Run the Gap, and cook out at the Fontana Village
Sunday, brunch at Philip's Restaurant and Run the Skyway.

Wow, another great event that all 7 owners should attend. I had a really great time at the first Deal's Gap meet and I will definitely be attending this one. So come on people, let's rock n roll!!!

Ill actually be able to hang out this time. I wont bring any supras this time that break down and cause me to leave early. Damn piston motors and their reliability issues Anyone who wants to come down a few days early are more than welcome to stay at my place right outside of Gatlinburg. Just let me know a little in advance and it will be fine.

I remember.

I had planned on going to the fall event anyhow. I simply couldn't fit the spring event in my schedule with the dozen other things I had to prepare for. The fall will be towards the beginning of the semester. I will however have to miss the USF-FAMU game. Oh well, GO BULLS!
