DCOE specialist in Tampa Bay area???

i have a 90 with a stock block, racingbeat header and intake manifold, MSD, and a 48DCOE. the car spent 2 years without being moved just after the motor work was mostly done(my mechanic was taking too long and i needed to start the paint before it got cold out). the carb was used when i bought it so it needed to be re jetted.
so i get my car back today and this is what he said " you need to have the carb re-built but the jets are correct". now this thing drank about 4 gallons in about 6 miles. so i figure its running a little rich....
so can anyone help me out with this, i getting tired of dealing with this carb issue, its the only thing holding me up from screaming down the road again.
thanks

I have a '92 with a mild port, RB Header and Intake Manifold, Stock Dizzy with 10.4 mm Taylor race wires and a 45 DCOE. My 7 is a vert so its a bit heavier than yours and with my 18x11 Fittipaldis 275-35-18 Potenza tires I get about 10 MPG.

I am using the stock Fuel Pump with an Italian Made Malpassi Fuel Pressure regulator which is simply the best. The pressure should be at about 3-4 psi.. no more or you will scratch the needle. Spark plugs used are NGK 7EQ all around... my vert runs excellent. Just make sure that you have your 5th & 6th port actuators working... with a header you can have brake line welded into it facing forward so it will force exhaust into the metal hollow line and your actuators will function properly. This way you dont sacrifice on your Top End power.

I was getting less mileage at 6 MPG but Carlos Lopez of CLR Motorports rebuilt the Weber and changed the jets... I am running a little rich but Rotaries have to run this way with a carb. Since I have had this setup my car has been reliable.. no more ECU's to worry about.. just turn the key and GO ![I]

Dan I suggest you get in contact with Carlos Lopez at CLR Motorsports by calling him at (305) 235-3696

Here is a pic of my motor...
