cost for 13bt in FB?

how much would it cost if i had the engine harness etc every thing but a few small things like my turbo and manifold/exhaust, to have a shop like rotorsports to put it all into my 82 FB? or any shop for that matter... thinking about buying a TII long block soon and wanna know if a shop around here could even do it.

if you pay a shop to do it, especially r0t0rsp0rts, then you might as well buy an FD. i'll leave it at that

Yeah... They're still trying to pay off all of the customer's cars you blew up during your short tenure there. (-;

Seriously, though, RotorSports does great work, but, like any thing else, you get what you pay for.

if you do it yourself it will run from 3-5k depending on what all you want right of the bat. I am doing a full rebeuild on myne and for now I will just leave the stock trany in there until I get the motor broken in plus saves on start up cost, but so far with the motor and all I have about 1400 in it and I still need more parts I am going to run a stock ecu until I get some bigger injector and a hybrid then I will get the Rtek reflash and will be happy so probably around 3,5k once everything is done but I got some really good deals on thing like my motor wasnt but 400 so Its all about how long you are willing to sit around waiting for the right price to come around.

Boosting a 12 can be done for around 1000 to 1300 depending on cost of parts.

I have a 1st gen with an '87 T2 engine and gearbox in it. Being lazy, I don't do my own work, so I have over $10,000 in it--and I got the car for free.

It's still a work in progress. See

http://www.cris.com/~Asam/Res7/Res7.html

The site is outdated, since I've done a bunch of stuff recently, but it will give you an idea. It's currently at PFSupercars getting a Tec3 installed. At that point, I'm going to call it "done" and just drive it.

OTOH, I'd sell it, as-is, for $6900. After the Tec3 installation, the price would be $9500.
