Toda mi gente de la Florida Central, El 1st. Family Racing Day & Auto Show" que se celebrará este domingo en Central Florida Road Course es algo similar a lo que se conoce en otras pistas como Funday Sunday, entiéndase día de prueba sin eliminatorias ni premiación.
Para todo el que desee probar su auto, la pista estará disponible de 11:00 AM a 5:00 PM. Habrá además exhibición "Car Show" con diferentes categorías y trofeos a los más sobresalientes. La entrada general es de sólo $10.00 y para probar o exhibir tu auto son $5.00 adicionales. Niños menores de 12 años entran gratis. Info. 407-619-3330

sorry to drag this on in this thread but i've just got one comment and then i'll post about sun....OF has alot of ppl that talk down to the hispanic race (not sayin that it's always white ppl, i'll be the 1st one to say i hate most spics because they make us look bad) but there's always alot of talk about 'spic this' 'that track is full of dumb spics that ruin a good thing' and on an on about negitive comments twards the hispanic race in general, that cannot be denyed because i've seen it time and time again....now unfortunatly for sunday it wasnt that packed but they didnt really promote it but hopefully the next one (SUNDAY,JULY 12,2009) will be a lil better

 

There are "some" ignorant people over there, you're right. Thats why that poll was done. The majority of the people posting in it were hispanic, talking about how its embarrassing. I go to the track and see a bunch of my spanish friends there, but I don't hang out with people who burnout, blast music, and have a general lack of consideration for others. On the other hand FBDRIFTERRx7 stated the forums as a whole were racist bitchers and I was responding to that. The views of a few cannot be construed as the beliefs of many... I certainly do not assume all spanish people act like the few ones ive mentioned. I will say I hang out with older spanish people, mainly from the islands than up north because they are so much more laid back. I was clarifying...

The majority of OF people want to just hang out, BS, and maybe at 2-3am go for a few races on the HWY. The majority of people who disrupt this are honda guys and people on bikes. I dont know how many times they have moved the meet because of idiots getting the cops called on us. I just don;'t understand how in front of say: Orlando's 1500hp viper, Darins 8sec Supra, Jess' 1000hp supra, TT 350Zs, Nitroused up Mustangs and camaros, etc would someone have the cojones to do a burnout and think they are impressing them? It just gets old. If we were at an RX7 meet and a bunch of 160hp hondas came up doing burnouts and flying through crowds would you guys get pissed? Would you get pissed if a bunch of camaros came out and did the same thing? What is more likely to happen? Camaros or hondas?

Heres that poll if anyone is inclined to read it: There are some rednecks saying mean ****, but the majority of posts are from spanish people. BTW I started it back in 12 of 2007!

I just realized Ive met you yrs before (2002?) in G'ville. You if Im not mistaken you are of asian decent, had your VR R1 and it had an M2 or PFS stock mount intercooler? Met at the g'ville raceway during Rotorstock or something.

I had my old FD then, and I spent half the day trying to help a guy with his twin turbo setup, because it was boosting funny.

Am I right?
