Here's all the official info. CenFlaRxClub will be having our meet on Sunday 3/19/06 at Orlo Vista Park. it will kick off at 1:00pm there will be a raffle and food
the raffles are a $1.00 a ticket, of buy 2 to better your chances!!! i would like to caravan to the park so we will all get there together. i need ideas of where to meet to start the caravan. so please give up your ideas. i also need to start a list of stuff that people will bring for the cookout . we need condenments (if i spelled that right) soda hot dogs and buns burgers and buns, charcoal, so let's get tight central florida and start the spring right.

There are more people, who said they are coming to meet on other threads on this forum page. Could we get together and post in this thread, so we can be prepared for the meet. Welcome to any rotor7 club members, omee call and let me know if your guys are coming. Pito where's Alex from last meet? This is the type meet everyone asked for, at park with bbq, beer, etc. Rx8's are also welcomed also. Any rotary, i will see if my friend with twin turbo miata rotary can show. If you do attend, make sure you bring personal supplies as well as 1 or 2 things for club members. thanx robrxray

Get Nathans Beef Franks.. they are absolutely the best.. if you have a Costco up there you can get a 33 pak for $8.00

I always buy these when I have my meets out here in Miami with the SOFLA RX CLUB...

glad to see that you are organizing the central florida club good luck. my suggestion is to make sure that someone brings a camara to record the caravan from 7-11 to the park.

I am **** out of luck!!! I have a ******* exhaust leak my car sounds like a ******* helicopter and I don’t have the gasket. Once again I can’t go. This **** sucks….what else can I say….

 

Call Tony and he can call this guy that would have it... so you can ride man... dont miss the meet because of a gasket.. worse comes to worse make your own gasket like i did... go to Advance Auto in the morning and get one from another and make it work...

heres a better idea guys, u all come to my house and we finish my car once and for all sunday is when im dropping in my engine but i dont think ill have it running until monday since ill be doing it all by myself. unless if someone wants to help :hint hint:

I am sorry to hear of your unfortunate circumstances today.. if you take the time to read this thread you will see that you are not alone. It seems for one reason or another there are a few that had unexpected situations that prevented them from coming out today. We must remember that participation is important toward the success of a Meet. Sometimes concessions need to be taken with ample time as it has been the case with this meet. there has been more than 3 weeks ample notice to get our 7's or 8's in working operating order. These last minute gasket problems or alternator problems should not be happening on the very eve of the meet.

I, the founder of the SOFLA RX CLUB here in Miami am faced with similar dilemmas. So I say... the car not running ? take another .. even if you gotta go in your beat up Honda as I have done on numerous ocassions.

Do what you gotta do to make it happen. So United We Stand .. or Divided We Fall. Make your choice and lets move forward..

hey guys thanks for all the offers. I got the gasket in but I have to wait until tomorrow. I need to buy a bolt and a nut so I can finish the job (I hope).
