It wasnt the event that i thought it would be... boasting over 400 cars in attendance...

Next year I know not to go to this event... if only Florida had its own version of Sevenstock

I know there was a group of guys from O-town that hosted Mazda National Day last year and they had a good showing of Rotaries.. that is what it should be about ... THE ROTARY

omg man now that was a big time worthy event, last yr there was alot of every gen, and even 2 or 3 of each old school, like rx2,3, there was one repu, even some swapped out cars like corolla's with rotarys, an some drag rotary's showed up there, all an all great event i really really cant wait for the next one, only bad thing bout that mazda nat day was that it was held in a small area, hope they have it in a bigger spot this yr

For ur information the dragon cars did not do any crying or talk any bad **** about the winner as a matter of fact we congratulated him. The bitching was done by another rx 7 owner and he was blasting off his opinion.

yea mazda6s, you keep repeating that the FD owners were whining...i'm pretty sure your facts are mixed up. granted they, myself included, WERE SURPRISED, but no whining took place. in fact, when the other guy was making his opinion known, one of the FD guys was telling rob it was no big deal and that that kind of stuff happens trying to chill him out. if they wanted to make a spectacle they could have.

well the person you're trying to get at isn't even an FD guy...and there were only like 5 FDs there and NONE of them were whining. so the facts are skewed somewhere. and also, we know where rob stands and he does as well. you're not going to change any of our minds of rob's character by posting any epithets about him.

honestly i had a decent time too, despite intermitent showers, intense heat, and the protege bias it was a good time. and that's including the fact I was riding in the back of mike's girl's vw gti and I am 6'5ish". half sideways in the backseat for the ride there and back.

hell rob was damn entertaining, but the best entertainment was watching 15+ protege owners attempt to get the winners car running at the end of the show.
anyone know what the ol diagnosis was?

I think a lot of people had fun.

As for the Protege bias, there's an easy way to solve that. Get more rotaries to come.

If the people putting on the event know there's going to be a strong rotary showing, there's no reason why the next event shouldn't have individual categories fo SA/FB, FC, and FD, as well as even an "other" rotary (RX-3. Cosmo, REPU, etc) category.

one of the injectors had a bad crimp on it and it came loose(Tack had to be tapped into the injectors). that is all. runs like a champ

Well I had a good time despite the fact when the judges came to my car I heard one of them say " just another rx7 keep going". The funny thing is all the guys in the CEN FL Club say I have the cleanest FC they have ever seen.
Maybe we should have a Orlando meet and have at least something to do this time. Maybe a cook-out and some entertainment.
By the way, the hotdogs at the pavilian sucked!
