SC Canadian going to South Carolin in May -- looking for stuff to do!

Hi folks.

I don't normally hop into other regional forums, but i'm making a trip for the first 10 days of May to Columbia, then Charleston, South Carolina. It's a work trip, but evenings are free, and I'm going to be spending a few days extra at the end in Charleston.

I'm wondering -- what kind of stuff is there to do? I'm interested in anything historical -- mabey something civil war related? Also, beaches/bars/restaruants? What's good? We've got about 1 free day in Columbia, (May 01) and 3 free days in Charleston (8,9,10th)

ALSO -- i come from a land of mail order fd parts and overpriced everything. Is there a good rx-7 shop, or something like that, down there that i could pop into?

Thanks for any advice.

That patriot's point seems pretty cool. I'll try to check that out.

Thanks guys!

As for parts, i don't even know what i'm looking for, i'd love to be able to actually SHOP.

I need new front brake rotors badly, a bushing kit would be good for the near future.
