just got out here a month or so ago, wont be back until april or may...hopefully....so long as another uav squadron replaces us....or maybe sooner, last time we were out here for a whole 5 months, so who knows, no one can make up their minds nowadays. do you live in nugent cove? saw a white fc, and a black/green(not sure) back in there, along with some nice 240. Im back in binder oaks.
bought my fd for a little under 6 grand, rebuild the engine with a mild port from pineapple, power fc, and didnt grease up the pilot bearing(at least thats all i can think it to be) enough when i put everything back together, hoping and praying i didnt trash my input shaft. I really need a good rotary tuner, most likey buying some bnr twins and some kind of intercooler when i return. fun fun!! make it back for most of the auto-x season!

Nah I live across from the airstation, I own a red s5 but I'm also looking for a good rotary tuner but the people I've talked to said the closest people they recommend is in Raleigh. But I've heard also good things about national speed in Wilmington but I'm unaware of their knowledge about rotaries.

yeah, I've heard Charlotte and Raleigh, both pretty darn far for a car that i worry driving back and forth to work in lmao! wonder whos cars those are on base then.
looks like i either need to get the ***** to drive my car to raleigh or get a trailer, first things first i am pretty sure i need some new solenoids, when the secondaries supposed to come on in first boost just dies, fine in the rest of the gears, but i need to fix that before i worry about tuning.

National speed knows nothing about rotaries. The were willing to do a compression test for me if I bought the tester. That didn't give me any confidence in them.

ahh, maybe its you then, its always parked under one of the old house car ports, I've only seen one other FD but he just moved to Cali. Soon as I get back from Afghan I've got a new intercooler, short throw, turbo control solenoids, R1 lip, pillowballs, and about to get a radiator I think. Still haven't bought the part that's actually wrong with the car yet......wasn't aware that pilot bearings didn't come prelubed so that bad boy seized up
