This is bullshit... just called Southern States Mazda and they said that a simple Mazda Rotary Compression Test was $200 F***ing Dollars.... IS that Bull? where can i get a simple compression test done on my car? Im in Raleigh....

There's a shop in Raleigh called McNaire Performance (not sure about the spelling). There located near HWY 70 (glenwood avenue) and I540. I wouldnt trust them to do any serious work, but they may do compression tests.

20-dollar compression testor works fine.

ok, calming down... bout **** a brick when they said 200, was like excuse ME??? WTF!!! how does mazda think they can charge that much??? It must be that specific dealership then... The reason i dont use a normal compression tester is that with normal ones, cant really get a very acurate reading(besides, tried it before and it didnt want to work for me...) I wana know specific numbers... I also wanted them to check the car top to bottom for anything that might be a problem... a second opinion.
Thanks for the info guys... Ill look at rotosports and mcnair
