I know two FD owners in Tampa and another FD in Clearwater. That area is kind of weird from what I heard...the RX7 guys never seem to really get together. You will have better luck driving over to Orlando where they have a great group of rotary enthusiasts.

Funny story: I parked in front of a hotel to meet some clients for lunch. As I was leaving, the head of security stops me and says, "Is that your car?" I figured I parked in a bad spot or something. So I say, "Yes." He goes...man those are beautiful cars...I love FD's.

I head out the door and one of the door man goes, "Oh wow is that your FD? We were all trying to figure out who it belonged to!" Apparently the guy is a Japanese Sports car fan and owns a 300z but he spent like 15 minutes talking about the FD with me and was like, "Man I can't wait to hear you start it up! There aren't any of those around here!"

Poor guy might have jizzed himself if you had pulled up in the Digi-Camo or CF Beast Mark. Haha!

Hmm...I suppose the fact that the doorman was wearing black, leather, ***-less chaps should have raised my suspicions.

 

The FD is a ***** magnet, their is no doubt out it. I drove it around for work the other day and same thing. Every where I stopped I had a guy talking to me about it.

 

Any Tampa guys go to the cars and coffee event in St. Pete? I went with a friend a few months ago, and I know some 8's roll out there together.

 

Felipe- What day/weekend is that meet on every month? I'd like to time my trips down there to coincide...especially if you go.
