Unhappy Birminghm's Next Level Performance?

Did Next Level Performance on 4th Avenue North close or move?

I went by there on Saturday to find an empty building with their advertising still on it but "for rent" signs everywhere. How long ago did this happen?

I know Ed the owner but I have not talked to him in about two years.

I've heard something about the owner and his wife were having some issues and they closed down. I think that was about 5-6 months ago.

Don't quote me on this.. but I just heard about it thru other people for about a year.

So how are things with you??

That sucks, Ed helped me quite a bit when I was building my first race car.

I am doing ok. I switched jobs a few months ago and plan on starting back to college this summer/fall. I just bought a truck ('03 F-250) so my RX-7 has been reduced to a weekend car. I discovered that my mysterious coolant leak turned out to be a cracked "thermostat cover" (the plastic tube that the upper radiator hose attaches to the engine with). So the car is broke until my order from MazdaMotorsports arrives. I have been fighting that leak for months, I had replaced every hose and had just about decided it was a cracked radiator when I discovered the crack in the plastic tube thing.
So now that I have a nice large truck and an RX-7 that does not have to be streetable I may slowly get back into racing over the next few months. It all depends on how much time and money my job/school takes up.

Yeah I found out they were closed @ World of Wheels this year, they usually host the import section but Auto Labz host'd it.
