It was nice to meet some more new people, to me anyway, since I'm the new guy.

Also thanks to Drew and his family for letting us come over.

I might be able to make it around 1 or so. I thought the MB car already had a downpipe? If you think you'll still be turning wrenches around then I'm definately down to give a hand.

Have fun guys, take pics.

No prob, I'm just happy I can come some when I'm off. I've got to get me a Mon-Fri day shift job though, these swing shifts are killing me!

We did have a blast at the BBQ! Special thanks to Drew and the fam for having us.

Heath, you didn't miss much.. We ended up going to a mexican restaurant for lunch and we worked on the car for a bit. Acturally, I ended up breaking down 7 blocks away from my house. Had to call AAA and didn't get home until 9:45PM. Left Leo's place around 6PM... It sucked!

What do you guys thinking about getting together again this coming OCT?? My place for movies and cookout?? We'll head downtown for a quick photo shoot.

I think an event once a month would be good till the winter comes.
Here are the days I would be able to come in October if it happens to fall one one of those days ( Oct - 3,6,9,12,15,18,21,24,27,30 )

I'm in for a get together next month. Just depends on the day. I'm booked from oct. 15-21st for wedding.

Sorry I couldn't make this one, I had already made plans. Once the whole wedding thing is done I should have some more time for stuff as long as the wifey doesn't get all pissy when I wanna go do something.

Chad,

Only weekend day I see on your schedule is 9th and 30th (both Sundays). I have plans on the 9th...

How about a "BIG" start of the fall gathering celebration on the 30th?? Hooters in Pelham??

Also, PM me with your emails. I'm going to start sending out mass emails for future gatherings. I can't get on the forum from work anymore.

Don't plan it just to my schedule. That would be nice to make it but if not I understand.
I am off like three more weekend days but I did not post those since I would have to work the next day, and that means me getting up at 4am. I figured those days were not good since I woulf have to leave from there around 6pm to get back home and get some sleep before work.

But the 30th would be great. This way the following day i would be off as well and would not have to rush.

the 30th is good for me. Well guys I got two job offers today for positions in Montgomery from my job. I've got 48hrs to decide if I want to take one of them. They are both lateral moves but they will get me out of the Overall Control Office I work in now. One job is for a outside digital technician and the other is for a 5e switch tech in a central office.

Hello,
Please forgive this hijack as well. My name is Rick and I live in Bham as well. I do not have an RX7 but I am looking for one. My wife drives an RX8 for what it's worth!
