I don't mean this as a warning so you will do it somewhere else. I mean this so you'll just stop and think about it. Take it to the track. They are monitoring forums like this as well as chat rooms and myspace, you tube, street fire, you name it.. If Tampa is doing this then some of the larger cities and smaller ones alike will be following suite. Just be careful. 1st offense is a hefty fine and tickets....2nd offense kiss your car bye bye, And don't think mommy and daddy's money will fend it off for long.

Oh and correction 1st offense is a court date and your car impounded for 10 days. If you are found guilty of "street racing" you are looking at a year license revokation. Then the 2nd offense is permanant impound. So while i think its a bit steep, i think it is sort of funny... Bad part is my Daily Driver is a civic so I am sure They will start harassing all the ricer owners.

 

I retract my statement cpubugs, I was dealing with the exwife would is enough to make anyone surley, and she left me for a cop. I agree with you I hate cops too, I have to wonder about any guy who thinks a badge gives him the right to turn your life inside out

ur right they are cracking down, but nevertheless there will always be "street" racing. the cops are cracking the whip a lil harder than usual as of late.
