This weekend Downing Atlanta will be racing their 4-Rotor Kudzu at Road Atlanta for the Mitty Challenge HSR Series Races. Come out and support the rotary world. Donno what days they will be there but im sure Holly will chime in.

Yeah Road Atlanta. Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Ill probably just go Saturday or Sunday. Not sure which yet. Depends on if anyone else goes and what day they go.

I go this time......I boned out on the last one

 

I have to check with Jim as to what day he will be running the 4-rotor. There are races both days, the last I asked him. I will get a specific answer and post what day we should go, if we want to see the 4-rotor race.

As I understand it, we get free infield parking and a parade lap if we register as a club. The form is still up on their website - so how many takers?

 

Im down with that, it would be nice to have a bunch of 7's out there for a parade lap. Lets all sign up as a club. SE Rx7 or RX7club?

I guess there's me, you, Holly, YaYo & Tim (ha ha) so that makes 5 or 6 RX-7s depending on if I bring one or two. Let's call ourselves SE RX-7 so everyone knows what to tell 'em. We might tell them we'll have 6-8 so there's room for a couple more takers.

I'll assume you're signing us up - if I don't see a confirmation from you by the time I get off work, I'll do it...

For what its worth, I signed up the "South East RX-7 Club" at the web page on Classic Motorsports' site. No confirmation back yet - I'll post here if I get something back. Otherwise, remember to tell 'em your with the Club!

I told them we'd have about 8 cars....first come, first served, I guess.

ok .. I don't know what happened to my post.

Jim will be racing on Sunday in Group 6 Enduro Historic GTP/Group C, WSC. The best day if we only choose one day, would be Sunday. AND, if it rains, Jim will not run the 4-rotor.

I have to check out this club parking and how much it will be.
