Atlanta living
Hey guy's, the wife and i are considering moving down to the Atlanta suburbs, around Douglasville. My in-laws live down there and so do my two brother in laws with their families. i've been searching for homes and i am amazed at what you can buy. Houses up here that go for 500,000-800,000 you can get there for 150-250!!!
Anyway, i'm just looking for the positives and negatives, cost of living, jobs etc to further help our decision. It's getting way to expensive up here to live, we have another baby on the way and i'd love for my wife to be a full time stay at home mommy.
I'm an architect so i'd be looking for that line of work and if anyone on here does that, any comments would be great..
looking forward to hearing from some of you, thanks

Find a job before you buy a house. Traffic sucks around here and MARTA is a crap shoot. I am lucky and got a job where I go against traffic, but it is still a good distance away. If you are looking in Douglas, traffic on I-20 can be rough in the mornings going into the city.
