im still in greenville. but my parents are out for most of the night so im having some peeps over.

 

So I just did an oil change on the 7, toped off fluids, checked tire pressure, and rinsed her off. So shes ready for the meet, and running smooth.

On my way home from getting groceries I timed a 0-60 run. Ive been trying to see how fast she is for a while. Befor I was just watching the speed in the 1/4 mile.(useing my odometer as a gauge). The last two runs ive done were 70mph and 75mph. The ones befor that were in the 60's

Now ive come up wit the idea of timing it with my cell phone. And the 0-60 run I did today was 11 sec. <that with a poor start-off and trying to figure out how to hold my phone-pressing buttons and drive-steer/shift at the same time.
Is the spec. for stock 0-60 time: 8 sec.??

I know this car can "deliver", I ghess I don't know how to drive. But i will get there. This is my "first" sports car.
Yesterday I did my first burnout. I attempted this once befor and failed, ghess i didn't rev high enough. And it led me to believe my clutch was bad among other reasons. So i dint try any time after that untill yesterday at school leaving the parking-lot. Reved it up 6+rpms and let her go. I was happy.

I'm happy when I down shift from 3rd to 2nd and going around a corner (with the sign saying "speed lane shift lanes later") and I'm still going 45 and tires are screeching but not losing traction, and in the straight away - OPEN THROTTLE - I love that feeling. knowing that boats like mustangs have to practically stop to go around that same corner. HAHAHA

I should go wash mine too.

well Im sitting in Washington DC right now and so far I have not seen one RX7 or 8 in this matter. Kinda weard with all these rich people here you would think. A lot of M3 and 350Z saw a Aston Martin DB9 yesterday.
