Anyone interested in putting together a video?
Anyone interested in putting together a video?
Just one of my hobbies ... I love making vids and I'm pretty good with shooting and cutting/editing.
Thikning about a video of strictly RX-7's and maybe some bastard children (i.e. MR. Twos, a supra or two etc) .... just of us in our cars having a good time ... i.e. driving around, taking corners, hanging out, roadcourse, autocross, track, maybe some sick driftos idk lol
Just something that shows what our cars are really capable of and why they are as addicting as crack.
LOL
Anyway lemme know if your interested so we can put something together ... ROBBBBBB I know your interested
lol

As suggested by numerous 7's and others talking to the Association
Gainesville Road Course 30-35$ for at least 2-4hrs with only a couple of cars at a time
on track
2 sessions am and pm
contact Can'tGoStraight/Jack on forum I will look up old thread, I know some Jaxsonville guys have been to it. We can have bbq after/during event. Also they sell race gas there.
Also my friend Steve with a twin turbo Miata is a past Mazda team race instructor and SCCA driver of 7's and Miata's, he has asked me many times to do some road events he belongs to ISC or someone correct me on that
If everyone wants, we could watch video of War of Imports and then go drive around after the pump sometime soon before we go to track

Pretty much going to copy and paste what is already listed in the Events
section.....
There will be a BMS BBQ on December 17, 2006 at Paradise Beach Park. I am going
to get to the park at 10:00 AM to try to get some parking blocked off and get
set up. For the rest of you, anytime between 10:00 and 11:00 would be perfect.
We will be collecting money ($5 per person) to cover the cost of renting the
pavilion, food, and drinks. We will provide all of the food and drinks. People
attending will not need to bring anything other than themselves, their cars, and
money if they have not paid before hand. We are hoping that most people will pay
before as to cover the costs associated with putting on the BBQ. If we receive
more money than what was used to cover the expenses, the money will go towards
expenses for the next CFC that will happen a few short months after this BBQ.
All the same rules for BMS weekly meets will still apply. A few adjustments are
as follows. There are NO pets allowed in the park. Alcohol is allowed as long
as there is NO glass. I will lose the deposit on the pavilion if either of
those are broken and that would be a really bad thing. If you choose to bring
some beer/liquor, please be responsible.
There is a weekly BMS meet tonight as well. I would really like to see most of
you out there and hanging out. I will also be collecting money for the BBQ so I
can buy you all food, so come and find me. I will be wearing my black BMS
t-shirt for those of you I haven't met.
Thanks and I look forward to seeing/meeting all of you at the BBQ on Sunday!!

I know some of these guys and they are great, the park is not named Paradise for nothing, I used to live across the street. If anyone interested start a caravan thread and the leftovers can stop by mi casa, before or after this event. Really good drive for people stuck inland and no hurricanes this time of year. the weather is suppose to be spectactular for lot's of photo ops and not just of cars. Yes, this is a family friendly place as well, with modern facilities, showers, restrooms, water, shade, seating. come on over and help rep the Association of Rotary's maybe pass out some stocking stuffers there
