Probably NOT. I don't think you want the organizer of Rotary event to drive something other than Rotary. Its going to be more of a daily/weekend car

Oh, Don-Phil.. I did the coolant preasure test again and it held rock solid over night. Did a vapor (compression leak) test tonight (3 times) and perfect results. car held perfect temps tonight (84) on a hard drive!!?? I am wondering if the preasure test could have reseated the seal? I also noticed after this that my coolant hoses are way softer (less preasure) now. I was 99% sure the motor was coming back out and did not expect these results.. But I guess if the coolant vapor test showed no sign of combustion gases then it must be fine? Only change I made was replacing the overflow line but it seemed ok before.. I am very happy but puzzled!

Good to hear Mike! But I dont think pressurizing the coolant system will reseal the engine. It could of been your pressure cap... if its bad, you might not be pressurizing your system and your coolant will boil over out of your reserve. I don't quite remember your symptoms but I would check the cap also. Do you remember 2 years ago when I blew my coolant seals?? Well, I bought 2 new 13 and 16lb caps and one of the Brand new cap was bad. I had to take it back and get a new one.

Also, check your fans. I'm sure you lowered the fan temps via PFC... make sure it kicks in.

So it's possible your pressure cap is bad... I would get a new one regardless.

Yes, I am going to put a new cap on as well as put the AST back on... Fans work perfect. I just seem to have a ton of air in the system or a leak allowing it to suck in air... Mike

Mike, there are only two ways your coolant system will have air/gas. One will be bad coolant seal and your exhaust gas is coming thru. And other, when your engine cools down your reserve return hose is not returning back the coolant. Now it seems like the later is the cause of your problem. Which make sense as when you fill it back up and drive, you don't see over heating and no issues. But after you cool down, it might cause it to over heat or lack of coolant in your system.

Check the reserve tank hose or check to make sure its not cracked. Its made of weak plastic and sometimes it will crack and loose coolant.

Thanks Phil. I just replaced the overflow hose. But I did find what I believed to be the problem>> When I bought a new low colant sensor I guess I did not tighten down or not enough and it backed out. Today I found it to be finger tight. So we will see Sunday. Mike

Well, I didn't get the car.

I'm actually very disappointed about NSX owners..

First I bought a set of rims from an NSX owner in ATL. What it seemed like a good deal turned out the owner didn't know **** about tires and wheels and lied to me. After I got the wheels home, I realized the wheels weren't balanced and the tires were slightly cupped (No weights inside of the wheels)... I then emailed him and he offered to pay for balancing. But very next day (when I was driving to FL) the guy changed his mind and decided NOT pay for the balance which he guaranteed to be balanced and the rims aren't bent.

Yesterday, Me, AbadR1, and SPOautos went down to check out the NSX. First the owner told me that the paint was good and told me, "I challenge you to find a single flaw in the paint job".

When I first walked up to the car, I saw nothing but flaws in every single panels of the car. DaleClark was there too and I'm sure he will agree with me also about the condition of the paint. Some of the panels were repainted and it was by far the worse paint job I've ever seen on any car PERIOD! It was so bad I could see the sand paper scratches 4-5 feet away.

Next, the owner told me that the car did not leak any oil and that his service man told him that it did not burn any oil as the oil level never went down. When we jacked up the car and looked under, OIL WAS EVERYWHERE..

So pretty much, me, Leo, and Stephen wasted 14 hours of our life looking at this car because the guy lied about his car.
