I was just wondering if anyone is in the 9's right now. There is this debate on another forum, that the fastest import street car is this local VW. He hit 9.9 I believe.

 

uh....jose padilla...run's 9's..i think...i believe its a stock frame but you know rear end., tranny and the motor are not stock. btw he runs all motor aswell.sumone correct me if im wrong

 

can it be registered? I dont think nopi will allow him to run in the street class.

 

Sporty's car ran a 9.9x and his was a street car. Drove it around Orlando all the time. He's back in Puerto Rico now.

i think it can be ...the car is not chopped no wheelie bars....nuthin drastic.but i gues he would have to register it before swapping evryhting and putting a motor in liek that..thats what i would do.

 

When was what? When did he run that time? I believe it was some time late 2003 or in early 2004? Don't remember, he lived up here until about 5-6 months ago that he moved back to Puerto Rico.
