GA Any other 7's in Augusta?

Just wondering if anyone else in or around Augusta, GA with an FC is on here. I've only really seen one or two others in town, let me know.

I was born in Augusta, haven't been back in a few years though. A friend of mine moved down there about 6 month's ago to go to college and he has an RX-7. I have actually tossed around the idea of moving back to Augusta for a while, and I have family and old friends there. I really do enjoy the mountains and have friends and family here to though and that's about the only reason I haven't. Lake Clarks Hill (Strom Thurman) I think its now called and a few other places almost make up for it though. I'll call Mike and see what he's into, he mentioned some other rotorheads when I spoke to him last. Actually, he's on the forum but not in a longtime.

Cool, much appreciated. I've been stationed here for a few years, but was into 240's before I picked up my FC. A friend had an FD that he recently sold here. So now I see one or two FD's rolling around and maybe one N/A FC, not a lot of love for the Wankel around here.

Ahh, Fort Gordan. Yeah, I don't recall to many 7's there myself. I tried to call Mike a few times, but had to leave a message, I dont know if he is super busy or out of minutes. Either way he will call me back, so....Is Washington Rd still a congested nightmare? I remember when I lived there, you could see 3 McDonalds from Bobby Jones Expressway on Washington rd. That is one thing that I dont miss though! Traffic! Seems strange that there are that many people, and that few rotarys. I did know a guy in Hephzibah (sp) that had two first gens, but like I said it's been maybe three years since I've been there. Let me see what I can dig up!

Yeah, washington and bobby jones is still fairly congested, but they've finally widened I-20 and added some new exits to help alleviate the traffic.
