Yep!

If we get 12 people, it will be $125 each, approximately 80-120 mins of track time and you only have to work 2wice on the track (40 mins).

Thats a hell of a deal.. Only problem.. it has to be a weekday.. otherwise, its hard to do it this year and also price will jump to $220 a person.

November 23, the day after Thanksgiving (Friday). Most people will have that Friday off anyway.

SPICcnmGT 11-01-07 07:56 AM

I doubt I could go Thanksgiving Friday. But I'm in if you find 10-12 peeps. Actually I may know a guy that might have some hook ups if you can't get 12 guys.

Herblenny 11-01-07 10:47 AM

Unfortunately, They count Friday as a weekend date! and price increases another $1100.

So, It would have to be MONDAY thru THURSDAY!!

As of now, ME, Kevin, Leo, Chris, and Dan (RX8) are interested in the track day.

Also, DGRR 2008 registration is open.. I have 17 signed up in less than 24 hours.. And the lodging choice will be slim if you wait too long.

I guess your car didn't sell on Ebay, Brad?

hus 11-07-07 12:09 PM

Luke, actually it did. Some guy from Canada won it and he's kinda lagging around on paying for it. He told me he didn't expect to win it and wants to know if I'll get the A/C fixed first. I'm like dude, you live in Canada! So we'll see what happens.

Sounds like he's stalling for time...

bryant 11-07-07 12:59 PM

did you advertise you would fix the a/c?
if not he can read just as good as anybody else.

have you received a deposit yet?
did you set it up were they have so long to make a deposit?

thats the only thing with ebay i do hate.
i sold my second gen on there and the guy just made up so bullshit story why he could no longer afford it.
and if you try to go to ebay about it they may kick um off, but still all they got to do is start a new account and there right back at it.

I don't think I've ever bid on anything I didn't expect to win... Sounds fishy to me.

Well, I don't ever bid on anything I don't have the money to buy. I bought my 7 off eBay and I didn't expect to win, but I knew how much money I had at my disposal, so when my bid won for a few thousand less than my limit I was speechless!

hus 11-08-07 02:22 PM

I'm assuming this guy is greener than I was when I bought my 7 because he's asking me questions of why it needs a "tune-up" when it only has 37k miles on it. I stated in the ebay ad that it needs a "tune," not tune-up. So I had to explain the difference to the guy but I think he's trying to make that an issue for not buying it because he said that he didn't want it to breakdown on the way back to Canada because of a tune-up.

blwnrtr93 11-09-07 08:08 AM

sounds like someone is trying to find every excuse to be a deadbeat bidder...

Herblenny 11-09-07 09:51 AM

Fucking KIDS!!!

bryant 11-13-07 09:35 AM

tell him to give you a 500 or 1000 dollar bullshit fee and you will forget about it.
i mean your still going to have to pay the fees for ebay!

blwnrtr93 11-15-07 11:50 AM

bryant 11-15-07 11:54 AM

Thanks! Your 2 cars sound very nice! I've never actually seen a RUF in person. Not to get TOO off topic, but how do you like it?

And to herblenny about DGRR, I know you don't want to discourage others from your event, but what is the realistic probability of being overwhelmed by Cops up on the Dragon? I've read horror stories.:sadwavey:

blwnrtr93 11-28-07 12:53 AM

we didn't have much of a problem this year at dgrr. i only saw two... one on the way in and of course the one that gave us the safety speech.
