This looks like the biggest meet yet. There has never been this many cars, even if only half of the people show up. I even chased after a nice red FD today that did not know of the meet and gave my cell# for directions. With all these new people and companies coming out this will be a big statement about the RX-7 (and other rotary) owners. Let's not act like a bunch of jackasses. Then they wonder why the big juice cars don't come out any more. Start another thread about an issue that does not pertain to this meet.

 

To all I would again like to say I am sorry to have hijacked your thread. However, I believe that what I said was for the Greater Good. My intention was to get the word out to everone to be careful with Val in all matters that have to do with Money. I believe that I have done that. I want to apologise for those that had to read these posts... I have spoken to Tom today and all this matter is being handled amicably. My intention when addressing this matter is to keep it personal since it only had to do with two parties involved; Tom and I. There was no wrong doing on my part and that has been established. Just misguided information. Lets just go on with the matter at hand which is the great meet that we are about to have tomorrow Sunday.

so what else is needed for the meet?

 

We need sodas.... 7 up, cola, orange, grape, etc etc etc... I would say that each person bring at least 3 large liter sodas... and we also need bags of ice...

Even if the soda is the no frills from Publix brand...

We will be leaving Kendall at approx 11:45 AM to 12 noon...

We will stop off at Dolphin Mall to pickup some others that will be there.

The back on the Turnpike to I-75 to Arvida Pkwy to SR 84 right into Markam park...

Simon "Papsmagu" said he will be there about 10:30 AM or so to set up the area.. if you live close to the park please go there and lend a hand... he could use it...

we should be getting to the park by 1:00 PM or so if everything goes as planned...

If you are riding in the caravan with us make sure you have a two way radio... plenty of video camera and digital cameras so we can post it on our new website SOFLARX7CLUB.com

I have only been to 2 meets and have not posted much on this forum BUT I must say that this "childish" behavior really needs to go elseware. If anyone has a problem with anyone else they need to put their pants on and handle it like two MATURE ADULTS. I feel that all the personal trash talking that goes on should be handle face to face and NOT behind the computer screen like children and should be kept off this forum. Everyone is entitled to his or her opinion but when this gets thrown around on the forum it does no good for anyone. I am NOT defending anyone as I have no friendships with anyone in the club as of this moment, but I am interested in being part of a Rotary community that gets along without any kind of B.S. as I have reached an age that this kind of CRAP really turns me off from being a part of anything on here. Hopefully this will get ironed out before tomorrow as I hope to attend a PEACEFULL meet once I get back from Moroso. Thanks for the time to vent and be a part of the S.Fl Rotary club.

I THINK ITS SOMEONE USING ANOTHER FORUM NAME JUST TO TALK CRAP.

 

To specify, it's the way it runs it that's pathetic, with clutch slipping nasty and sounding very bad all the way down the track. You have to see it in person or on video to understand. I am always happy to run 12s, I never rip up those timeslips like I do my low 13 ones. 12.2 @ 123 is ok but 8000 rpm all through 3rd and 4th is bad. No one said what I should bring yet so I will just grab sodas so there won't be an article about who brought what and who didn't.
