Who the **** do you think you are? You don't know me, or anything about me to be posting this kind of ****. You wonder why the dwindling amount of people are going to your meets?
It's because you are freaking weirdo - and have a **** poor attitude.

You need to be a better "Preacher" and stop singling other people out in your posts. Do you really think you're making me feel "guilty" for not showing up? Get a life.

Last time I checked - We were recently hit by a HURRICANE.
My house has been with out power for a few days, and my community is littered with trees and flooded with water. Not the best enviroment to drive a lowered 1st gen. Perhaps your gull-winged, all-wheel drive, 4-rotor convertible could make it through the debris.

Unlike yourself - I am a married man, with a wife, responsibilities, bills to pay, and a business to run. I have to prioritize the more important things that I need to do. If I had the chance, I would rather than to go look at other peoples RX-7's - but I don't have that luxury all the time.

I am glad your trailer park didn't get damaged, but many people's lives have been disrupted for now. To everyone else - I am sorry I was not able to attend the meeting due to all the crap I was still cleaning up at my home - as I really did want to go - Despite Val.

If there is a next meet:

Could we do it with some real advance planning? Preferably a location were we could do other things as well? Perhaps Dave and Busters @ Dolphin Mall. That way there'd be a cruise to and from it. It'd be centrally located for the Broward people, & there would also be plenty of food, refreshments, and entertainment within walking distance.
We could even go to see a movie together - like a true car club.

I dunno, it just seems more interesting than hanging out next to a Wendy's while people do donuts in the street and endangering everyone there.

I just don't understand this ****. Val seems like an ok guy to me despite having serious problems with other people that he brought on himself. I have no personal problem except-
Directfreak is my friend and has done absolutely nothing to deserve these constant bullshit uncalled for remarks. Val, do you have split personalities? Or a substance problem perhaps? In that case I hope I never meet the bad side. Because I guarantee you I will not show up to a 9 car meet in the aftermath of a hurricane any more. You had a great idea organizing these meets and put a lot of effort into them, thank you for that. Let's not tear apart the group for gay *** reasons. There are few of us as is, and many are selling their cars, or cannot afford to keep them running and gassed up. Last time I checked, Dirctfreak is a respected long time member of this forum and community, and owns one of the fastest and nicest RX7s period around here hands down, not to mention 1st gens. It makes us all proud and jealous. What the ****??? This is just going to get worse if we don't ******* stop. Please

Thanks for the offer Tweak. With the help of my neighbor, we were able to put the fences back up and throw away the debris in the back of my truck. Took a few trips, but we finished late on Sunday.

exactly who are you talking about that endangered everyone by doing donuts,because i remember from the vids that were posted that lucky was the only one doing donuts .i know him and he would'nt do something dangerous if he know someone was in danger,and if i'm not mistaken didn't you make a vid of your self racing some guy on a public street,correct me if iam wrong but that endangered even more people then what he did. That has nothing to do with you, but... I too have known Carlos for many years. That is how I felt when I originally posted it.
Years later, after meeting him and talking to him again, I got a completely different impression of him. I got such a different impression, that I couldn't believe the changes. The changes might have been him, might have been me, or both of us could have matured. That is why I did the right thing and retracted my previously negative comments.

My statements didn't involve anybody but Val, and I was upset that he kept singling me and other people out for not being able to attend for some reason or another. It wasn't the first time he's done this.

Presently, it is not a real club, but we were hoping it would evolve into one.
Right now it's just a few meets. I am actually glad that Val has stirred up
interest to form a Miami RX-7 club. Hopefully the momentum can be reactivated.

I disagree. We all love to see nice RX-7's. It serves as inspiration as as to what our cars could/should be like. It's also a great place to meet others people with similar likes. Just like this forum, only in person.

 

It was rather unfortunate that Lopez Racing cancelled the Dyno Day at his shop since he had an urgent matter that he had to go to Puerto Rico for. So in lieu of this occurrence we made plans for TROIPCAL PARK at the suggestion of TwEaK but the park was closed due to Hurricane Katrina. We went across the street to the Mc Donalds parking lot and all met there. We all had lunch at a very nice italian restaurant with great prices and good food at "Il Bambino"

I was glad to see that the faithful ones were able to show.. as I am pleased to see the Die Hard Rotorheads making it to each meet that we have. You guys are really something... no matter if its raining .. or shining... or natural disaster there may be .. you guys manage to hold it together and for that I am very pleased.

I have to give special thanks to Phil for always being the first one to call me and letting me know that he is headed or coming to the meet.

We had the privelege of getting to know a newcomer to the group.. DGnizer and his friend A.J. who drove down from WEST PALM BEACH in a Gun Metal 3rd Gen with Body Kit and some nice engine work. These guys drove nearly TWO HOURS to join us.

There were mainly 3rd Gens, one FC, and one Harley Davidson (Mine) since I no longer have my RX7. I did however sport a Mazda RX7 Race Shirt. DGnizer got some great footage on video and there was some sick Drifting courtesy of DGnizer and I was told that Roland "Outkast" did some as well. After having had lunch at IL BAMBINO we headed to TwEaK's ranch home in Horse Country. We spent some time there and then headed to my shop in Kendall...

There was some "BITCH Talking" being passed around but for that you will have to ask around because i was asked not to divulge it.

Just a little talking.. some driving and then it was time to head for home just about 7 PM.

DGnizer and AJ left bound for South Beach and to Party with all the VMA Honies.
I am sure they got some really good pictures of those other events... I wonder if they got some video ?

You stand in the shadows.... I know there was a Hurricane that blew by my house... the two trees in front of my house were uprooted and one fell on my other car. My rear fence fell over and took out my mango tree. So yes I did have to remove all that stuff and all the water that made its way into my home.

I have a business to run as well.. but Sunday is my Sabbath... that day I dont work... its my leisure time.. so that is why I am able to go the meets. I make it a point to support the meets. I know you were calling one of the guys on his cell phone talking about you were on your way. So I thought..

You talk about Advance Planning.. This thread was created almost 5 weeks ago,, what more advance planning do you need ? I read some of your post detailing that you would attend. I wasnt going to single you out.. i just couldnt remember the other person that said that they were coming who also in fact was calling on a cell phone asking for the address of our meet.

I do believe if memory serves me right... you had posted a while back something about the RAIN or something to that effect ... I cant remember but your negative post created some doubt in some of the other attendees and even some ill words... but that is up to them to voice it to you or not ... I simply made two words go together and you get bent out of shape.

I am not going to allow your comments to hinder my desire to keep the meets going... I dont live in a trailer park but even if I did there is no shame in that. I would be grateful for having a place to call home. Perhaps I can post a photo of my home in the crossings where there are no trailer parks.

The place next to Wendys and Doughnuts... I dont remember seeing you there at that particular meet either... so you must have seen the video. Get involved and show up to the meets instead of saying that you are going to be there and not show up or to run some negative post so people can be swayed into not going. I do my best to make it happen and I broadcast an email and I dont get responses to the emails but you know what... I can feel comfortable enough that I was able to send those emails out and whether or not people read them it is up to them. I am not baby sitting anyone... I do my part and that is it. Most of the time when there are meets I foot the bill for some of the stuff... like the previous meet i ended up paying more than my share because people say what they are going to do and then dont do ****. But in order to make it as successful as possible I invest more flow into it just to make it happen.... I go around this city and post flyers trying to promote the events. Just ask some of the guys that see me when i am doing that.. like Crispeed, Lucky, Lopez Racing, Carlos Lopez, Charlie Maldonado, Dennis RPM Doctor High Tech Auto , Advance Auto Stores, Bumper to Bumper stores, Murrays, Speed n Style, Mazdapros, Econotires, and there are so many others.. that is done on my time.. my gas... my money and that is how i get involved. I do all these things then I have to read some Negative post about the Rain or some **** like that.

Yes, I know that you been on the forum a lot longer than I have... but what are you doing to promote the meets ? or support them... if you are not showing up. from the comments that I hear of what people say about you .. I would feel that much better if you do show up... you are like an Icon with the RX7 community but i dont know what it is... it seems the more famous you become the less you get involved. So whatchu gonna do ?

Roland, I appreciate the fact that you confront me as a Christian. So I recieve it Roland. and you are right. So I am not bothered with your post.

I will post the remaining pics later on today because i have to take off and remove some more trees that have fallen and plus I also have a business to run as well at the same time.

I have asked by way of posts and PM for your help and your input but you have not replied to any of my emails PM or posts.

I remember meeting you at Markham Park Meet but after that time i attempted to contact you but to no avail.

I have gotten some sponsors or rather business owners that have supported the meets and have provided some prizes like the seat belts that TwEak won at the Kendall Meet over a month ago.

You had some great ideas from our conversation at Markham Park...

 

you also should come down for one of ours. maybe we could all meet 1/2 way at moroso next time.

ok. im going to the tower shops friday nght with my newly painted 3rd gen. if anyone wants to go , ill be there. i dont know, call me crazy, but why dont we just make simple plans instead of long elaborate ones. this way if no one shows up, (who am i to talk i know, ive havent been to a meet yet) its not that big a deal. thats just me i guess. either way, i hope i get to meet some of you folks this friday.
