5th Miami RX7 Club Meet August 24th .. Where ?
HELLO EVERYONE !!!
AZFUK seems to think that the next meet should be at the world famous TIKI BAR at Islamorada..
Alejandro says there is a lot to do there.. we would have the beach and all the pretty girls.. uhmm uhmmm (clearing my throat) .. well just that its a nice place to go..
What do you think ?
or
We could shoot for Homestead... but I dont know what is there to do in Homestead...
I feel that the Tiki Bar would be a great place...
The date is Sunday, August 24th , 2005 at 11:00 AM
If it sounds like a definite place I will make a flyer befitting for the ocasion... pehaps we can have a Hawaiian Luau and a Limbo contest... I bet Phil "AIC Rotary2" would be good at this, After all he is JAMAICAN MON ! Then of course we have Dennis "R.P.M. Doctor" from High Tech Auto who showed us what a 2nd Gen Convertible can do with enough boost.. There is a true blue Island Guy... A Real Patua Accent and all
Make sure you bring your bathing suits and Hawaiian Shirt..
I forgot to mention that it was also Dennis DeSilva's Bithday this past sunday...
So let's wish him a Happy Birthday !!!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY DENNIS !!!

the 24th of august falls on a wednesday. i'm down for homestead on the 20th. i'm pretty sure at the homestead speedway we could find something to do.
although the thought of seeing phil trying to limbo does sound somewhat amusing.

ATTENTION. HERE ARE THE EVENTS GOING DOWN THIS AUGUST. FO YOU INFO!
Sunday, August 20 & 21
Sports Car Club of America (SCCA) Florida Regional Solo (Parking Lot).
Solo (autocross competition) events are driving skill contests that emphasize the driver's ability and the car's handling characteristics. This is accomplished by driving a course that is designated by traffic cones on a low hazard location. While speeds are no greater than those normally encountered in legal highway driving, the combination of concentration and car feedback creates an adrenaline pumping experience! For more information, please call Jim Grob, at (954) 772-3002, or visit www.scca.org. the price is $15 dollars to race in the scca (there using the parkinglot)
Saturday, August 27
Chin Motorsports (Road Course)
Chin Motorsports Driving School visits Homestead-Miami Speedway. For less than the cost of a speeding ticket you can drive your high-performance vehicle on Homestead-Miami Speedway, the way it was meant to be driven. For more information log on www.chinmotorsports.com or call (770) 378-1694 or email info@chinmotorsports.com. for $30 bucks you can race around the homestead race track.
honestly the scca is badass cause there will also be ferraris & lambo & other expensive cars. However the 27th is cool cause it would be nice to see what phil's car with that t72 does on the race track.
BOTH OF THESE ARE @ HOMESTEAD'S TRACK
forgot to mention one more event! (BELOW)
http://www.vibesandrides.com/
this on is on the 28th but its more of a car show with contest. No drifting or anything just a chill show off kind of thing! There the same ones that promote the DUB magazine (MORE OF A LOWRIDER THING)
EVERYONE MAKE A DECISION WHICH ONE WE SHOULD DO!
BTW VAL THE 24TH IS A WEDNESDAY NOT A SUNDAY.

When is the 1/8 mile at Homestead? I would also be up to a Moroso meet. Anywhere we can compare times legally. But since it's so far I guess Homestead would be perfect. The Tiki Bar is nice but it is hard enough to find parking for one Rx7 on a busy day, let alone 20-30. Happy birhday Tweak! I will be 25 soon so I am older than some of you. ha ha

OK here it goes, I was talking to alex from lopez racing about a dyno day / meet ,and he told me that it was a cool idea if i could get about 20 cars to dyno.this dyno is state of the art ,this aint know dynojet ,this a dyno dynamics from australia.it reads real time as you go ,it capable of doing 1/4 runs ,everybody is invited ,no tuning ,price will be 50 bucks 3 pulls ,the one with the most HP will get a cash prize or something. he is thinking prerigister to know for sure how many cars will show up. val will be posting something to see how many peps are interested. also you guys can come out and meet the guy ,hes a pretty nice guy regardless of what others think. so what do you guys and girls think
