Well, I figured the beamer would be a more "sensible" car. I need something reliable, comfortable, kinda fun, and badass to drive. I test drove one, and fell in love with it, kinda like with the FD. Also all of the creature comforts are a plus, and it does good on gas also. They dont lie when they say " The ultimate driving machine".

Anyone know of any good beamer shops other than Active Autowerks?

So you selling both cars now? Also, if you're gonna mod a Beamer I'd at least start with a 330.

He said he wants a sensible, reliable driver. I don't think he is going to be doing anymajor power mods.

Something he can come to a car meet with without dumping gasoline all over the ground.

more power to you ali, whatever the hell you decide to do. i'd get the s2000 instead. my parents had the exact same model and year bmw your looking at and they had nothing but problems left and right.the windows stopped working, the engine was knocking like crazy and bmw could never fix it properly. the front drivers side brakes went bad and had to be replaced, and on and on . very expensive problems if it wasnt warenteed. they were so happy they leased the car and didnt buy it. on the other hand, the s2 should be much cheaper in all aspects....that is unless you get the mod bug like all of us 7 owners do lol
