Time is money...... if your time isn't worth much, then by all means try your hand at making your kit. If you'd rather be driving, or porting, or building an engine, etc--- the kit is a pretty easy decision

I like the kit approach! Seems like the best value for my money.

RE: 19 row or 25 row coolers. Are the standard 93 bumper openings large enough to take advantage of the 25 row cooler? What are the ducting needs of each size, assuming the standard bumper?

100% In for a car cover (may not wait for the GB on that one and just pull the trigger this week) and oil cooler group buys.

I'm not sure why they didn't post a thread, but they did have banners running a Black Friday sale. I didn't look at the coil packs but im sure they would've been on sale. I took advantage and picked up the oil coolers. If I had more money I would've picked up the BBK kit as well... Alas.. Still have to pick up some Xmas presents for a few people.

Indeed. So much truth to this. I value a well engineered kit over cobbling together something that I hope works, doesn't leak, doesnt look like **** and doesn't require a bunch of R&D on my part to be effective.

My order is in for the door handle GB! I'd also be interested in a GB on the oil cooler kit.

Interested in 99spec cover with 99spec wing. Maybe tempted by an oil cooler GB, we shall see.

This type of thinking comes with age and experience. We are getting old

The covers we'd need to hit 25 people for. Something that large probably would take some time to materialize and the savings on it is rather marginal. If you want a cover shoot me an email info@sakebombgarage.com let me know what material choice you're looking for... if I've got it in stock I'll help you out.

For the oil coolers, we can definitely put a group buy together. Unfortunately the new year has brought with it a pretty significant price hike for the components used in the kit... we've been avoiding increasing the price of the cooler kit for awhile now, but at this point we'll be forced to increase the price of the whole setup in a few weeks. We've been looking for ways to get the price back down, and have a few methods including a more affordable cooler cores. So while the price of the current kit will be going up, we're working to lower the base cost with more affordable non-setrab branded cores (and keeping the Setrabs as an optional extra).

If you guys want a cooler kit group buy before the price hike we'll make it happen.

What kind of price increase are we talking, if you don't mind sharing? The OC setup is next on my list of must-haves.

The coil kit group buy never materialized, partly because we ran out of kits. We're still waiting for our new run of harnesses, but can put together a GB on these while we're waiting for the new run to show up

Interior Passenger Door Handle GB:

Looks like there's enough interest to do a small run of handles.... anyone waiting to get in on this here's the link. There's a limited run of 25 handles (2/3 93's and 1/3 94+).

Please head over to this link to check out. Again, this is a FIXED small run of handles... now that the process has started we CAN NOT change the quantities... so if you need a handle, please place your order ASAP. We will have zero ability to offer these once the pre-order spots are filled, and it's too late to change production quantity. 25 handles are available, no more no less

order here-> LHD Passenger Grip Handle (FD3S RX-7) - SakeBomb Garage LLC

Ouch. Though if the hype is as good as it seems I think its worth it for being able to actually see more than 15 feet in front of me at night.
