GB: Piloti Shoes

This is a bit out of left field for us, not the kind of stuff we normally do, but we just couldn't pass up this offer. We were invited to become an official distributor for Piloti shoes; we're thrilled as everyone here at SakeBomb has been wearing Piloti shoes for years - on and off the track. It's pretty exciting to be able to provide Piotis to the FD community, and we're going to be running a group buy on them since the first shipping container of the new 2015 product line just arrived earlier this week.

Here's a general overview of Pilot shoes:

The main purpose of the shoes is to provide the absolute best driving shoe, while still making it usable for everyday things like walking around town. Basically, these shoes are just as comfortable doing heel-toe downshifts as they are walking around a classic car meet. They're actually significantly more robust than most normal shoes; our product designer has had one pair of "daily drivers" for more than four years and they're still in very good shape.

The 2015 lineup covers everything from super ridiculous luxury designer shoes to hard core racing shoes and everything in between like driving loafers and track day sneakers.

Features of Piloti shoes include:

Just a warning, like everything performance related that's high quality, these shoes are not cheap. But, you get what you pay for... they're well worth every penny and will last you years on end. These aren't just driving shoes. They're some of, if not THE best, driving shoes we've ever used, hands down which is why we were so thrilled to have been invited to become a distributor.

Check out our new Footwear Section for more information.

If we can gather enough people together, we will be running an introductory group buy. We need a minimum of 30 people interested to make this happen. Piloti has given us the go-ahead for a one time introductory sale on their entire 2015 lineup, which just arrived in the States a few days ago. If we can hit 30 people, we can make this happen.

Please list yourself below with your name and the size, style, and color you want so we can get an idea of how we'll need to distribute our orders.

Please PM us for a coupon code when you're ready to buy! Our listed prices are retail price, so you won't get the group buy price without the coupon code.

Very cool. I'm actually looking into new shoes at the moment (business and driving) so the timing is great. Reading on the website it mentions the shoes tend to be narrow. Do any of you have wide feet? I ask because I'm a 9.5 wide, (boarderline 2x wide) so that makes me think these are not likely to fit me.

              Any experience?

I was so extremely disappointed when Piloti disappeared a few years ago since I owned at least 5 sets of Prototipo's over the years.

I am likely in for a set of black leather Prototipo's w/ red accents and a set of the grey suede Spyder S1's depending on group buy pricing. Could you PM me some details if you can't post the pricing here?

I've actually got decently wide feet, and my Prototipos fit me pretty well with some adjustment. I just had to loosen the laces a bit. I'd also recommend ordering a half size up as well just to be on the safe side.

Our product designer has relatively small and narrow feet though, so Pilotis fit fantastically. I guess just treat them like any other European shoe that runs on the narrow side. For the most part I've just been ordering the same size as what I normally wear and I've been fine.

I have the exact pair in the op's original post pic(on the car), except Beige on Brown.
If you drive, their best driving shoes out there. If I was in the market I'd be a be all over this!

Hmm... I've always wanted a pair of these. I hear nothing but good things about them. Glad to see they're back.

That's actually a guy from Rotary Car Club, so you'd actually be next in line. We're running this GB on several forums so occasionally things get lost in translation

Yup, an annoying mod on RCC deleted the post because shoes aren't "rotary related"

Haha should have posted it to the Other Classifieds non-rotary related items. Then the GB would have been the problem likely. Sorry to hear that.

Seriously, I've been waiting a month for someone to post this...

If you want something done right you've got to do it yourself. This one goes out to Mr. Rich Red-shoes (GoodfellasFD3S)
