ok heres the deal i pretty much put one of these kits to gether buying parts seperatly before i was part of this forum but i still need the hardware and the oil lines and block off plates that come with all of your kits..
what kind of price can you give me on this
have to4e and the same manifold have xs engineering wastegate and bov. one problem is that the wastegate doesnt bolt oin to that manifold it has a coupler with a clamp. in the pic of your manifold for the kit it looks as it you cut the plate wher it should bolt on and welded the other half of the coupler to it so the wastegate can be attatched.. if this is how you did it let me know if not how did set it up to have the wastegate attatched
thanks, b

The T-78 would be comparable to the GT40 in terms of power. My opinion is the T-78 kit is not worth it as its overpriced and you can get something a lot cheaper that will give you the same results.

Jason,

Do you happen to have the gt35r kit for a t2 rather than the third gen.? Not sure if that manifold would work with the t2 and i am positive the downpipe wouldn't. If you don't but you make one let me know.

Thanks,
Dion

Jason I have a question for you: I have an HKS TO4R installed but i want a ball bearing turbo, the question is that if i buy the TO4Z from your store ,can i use the turbine section from my TO4R with the rest of the TO4Z. because the TO4R from HKS comes with a slip on 4 bolt downpipe conection ,and the Z has a 3" V-band. Or is there any way to use the TO4Z with my current set up. Thanks for your help.

Jason, if i would like to get a GT40R turbo kit, what else does it come with in term in order to complete to swap?

fuel lines? block off plates? pulley+belt? (i know it wont fit the air-pump any more) piping to the stock intercooler? is that manifold well built by megan? and does the waste-gate route back to DP? most importantly, how long would it take to get the a kit ready to ship?

i have 1350cc injectors, upgraded twin, PFC, greddy SMIC, Apexi intake and HKS DP, exhaust. i am just comparing if i should get a Greddy T78 kit since it comes with every single piece that i need to do the swap with no fitment issue i assume, but i like the GT40R turbo better.

Our turbo kit comes with Turbo, Manifold, wastegate, downpipe and lines/fittings. We dont use the Megan manifolds anymore. We have gone with a higher quality manifold with better flanges.
In terms of other parts needed it looks like you have everything else. I would suggest an HKS Twin Power for ignition.

Do you guys sell parts for first gen RX-7s, or do you know someone online who does... not sure if they're interchangeable and it doesn't look like you go any further than the 90's.

Thanks!

Hi,
We have changed our manifolds this past year. We were using the Megan but to many issues with warping and the flanges didnt match the turbo.
We have since gone to this manifold.
http://www.rx7store.net/RX_7_Turbo_M...20manifold.htm

The flanges are a lot thicker and match perfectly to the turbo and the block. Overall just a better manifold than previous one. So far no issues with them.

Hi,
If your car is non turbo right now then there are a bunch of things you need to do when going turbo. Turbo, fuel system, ECU, intercooler, clutch etc...
I typically recommend finding a front clip from a turbo car and buy that. Its the cheapest way to go turbo on a non turbo car.

Jason

Will this manifold clear the rear engine mount of a Cosmo 13B-RE?

my current manifold I need to cut the waste gate pipe and re route it

When I first bought my GT35R kit I ended up having some problems with the flanges leaking. I spoke with Jason about it and he informed that he was now dealing with a whole new manifold altogether and I can tell you this new one is so much better. I haven't had any complaints other than trying to find the right sized bolts with small enough heads I can fit a wrench on, currently have a leak since I wasn't able to fully tighten one of the bolts
