thats not powder coating thats anodizing (like dyeing metal)

Powder coating and Anodizing have different "styles" anodizing is alomst like a clear tint.. kinda.. where as Powder Coating is just that a coating of colored powder..

i'de bet those are anodized jsut by the look of them.. but not forsure on that...

+1 on the ugly comment

anodizing is where you put the metal in acid, run some current through it, and depending on how long you leave it in there, a really thin layer (what we see as the 'color') grows on the surface of the metal.

BTW. steel cant be anodized. aluminum can though.

lol... i took that picture.....

those wheels were specifically made by volk wheels for the vertex drift car.... volk did the anodizing for them, but doesnt do this fopr the public....

and say they are ugly all you want... but on the car, they are gorgeous...

The rims are rather good looking....in my opinion... Just depends on what colored car there placed under. Now that determines the fuglyness :p////\\\
