OK.

Anyways, Peter, what speed were you going when you popped up your lights? Sometimes you can lose a headlight cover that way

Nice run.

he probably went to the gym everyday for the last year just to be able to hold the sterring wheel straight, heheh, jks

one of the advantages of a porshe is that the aerodynamics get better the quicker you get (or so they say) my fd just starts shaking like sh*t when i exceed about 220km/h

the camera shakes get progressively worse as hes pegging the speedo. i would guess its pretty rough in there. acceleration from 120-180mph is incredible though.

Kids... Do not try this at home!!!! Cool though. I had my FD to 140 MPH one time with the windows down (closed course professional driver). My suspension was bone staock and 110k on the odometer. It shook like hell and was scary. When the windows were up it felt stable.

id like to know the mods as well. in anycase, a tunnel is probally the safest place to do a stunt like that as no animals (every see the pics of the bird which went thru the windshild gap of the viper at 180 mph) or unexpected gust of wind to deal with.

Hi...

Thanx for the great words guys...

I was driving after midnight and as you can see there was no cars at all.. Those 2 cars was my friends...

I think the car was very good at high speed.. And the rattle noice in the car is the B&M shortshift kit who not fits right (surprice)

My mods are:

I have a little streetport engine with:
HKS T04R full turbine kit
HKS frontmounted intercooler
HKS Twin plate clutch with lighter flywheel
HKS Hiper exhaust
HKS Manifold
HKS injector pipe
HKS 2 x 1000 cc injectors
HKS Twinpower
HKS Blowoff
HKS Racing wastegate
HKS Intake filterkit
HKS EVC (boostcontroller)
HKS gauges (oiltemp, boost)
HKS turbotimer
HKS spark plugs
B&M shirtshift
Fluydine radiator
Bilstein suspension with lower springs
3" exhaust all the way, no cat
3 bar mapsencor
MF2 fuelsystem

I think that was allmost all....

Here is a link of some pictures of my car:

Aerodynamically, at that speed, you're really questioning your mortality, dude.

Ever seen the Racing Beat video?

Hi...

Your all talking about the danger in driving in that kind of speed... It is not the speed who is killing people.. It is all about how unlucky you are.. I know a guy who was driving on the freeway in Germany with 150 mph when his tire exploded.. He smashed his car but did not get hurt...!!! And then i used to know a guy who crashed with his car with only 35 mph but he was so unlucky that he died of it...
But i know offcourse the chances are much bigger when you drive fast.. But it could also happen to you with very low speed... So be careful out there....

DID not see the video yet but great job, doing 300km with out help of BIG spoiler. 3 gen was not very great design on areodynamic. BTW did any one know stock 3 gen can run over 165mile +. FEW year agao Motor trend do a top speed test on all the high performance car at that time. FD was the only japanese car run over 155 mile stock..
OH I just saw the video. very cool, it would be better if you have camera mount

I'd say it's the tunnel from a man made island between sweden and denmark to the danish mainland. There's a bridge from sweden to that island, and then the tunnel, so he's actually driving under water as well =)
