I told her to have a good life. I am too old, too grown up, and I make the income in the
family. There is absolutely nothing wrong with an RX-7 hobby (or fetish) as long as
nothing else in the home is neglected because of it. Hell, I built 95% of it in my garage.
After her moving in with her sister for 3 days - she changed her mind and came to
her senses. She still doesn't like the car, but at least she tolerates it now.
Besides, you never get out of it, what you put into it..
Good Luck.

I value my wife and marriage more than any object.
It's an unhealthy obsession. Plain and simple.

I know your car can do a prefectly fine burnout on its own; so, why the assist?

I cannot believe someone would build a 603 horsepower rx7 and sell it. I can't believe. Even if it is because of your wife or whatever, I can understand making compromises and everything - but that is like soul right there. That is more like giving up a chunk of life.

I just noticed in my burnout video. Watch the guy in the back of my car video taping. Watch him through the video. Everytime my car pops, he jumps back like he's getting shot ! HAHA!
