10.5 @ 12x ???

I guess it's just one of those 320 hp jet engines like Jay Leno has in his bike?

I was told he did a few day time test passes. This guy actually owns that "Heathcote raceway" himself & the jet powered RX-7 is the tracks new promo car I guess.

Then he did a couple of night time passes on full throttle & one of them was the 7.80 run.

i would like to see proof of him doing a 7sec run, because he has nothing done to the car for aerodynamics now wings or spoilers if he was running a 7 sec run and got a little bit of air under him that car would take off. i am a pilot and trust me it would happen.

Hmm, combine this with the 250mph Racing beat FD that took off into the air, add some "red bull", and you get a heck of an airplane!

Not quite there mr. pilot. 180-200 mph doesn't automatically mean airborne. We don't need proof - plenty of jet engined cars have run those times and it will likely be fine. How many people here have had their FD's up above 170? I'm sure a couple.

He must have shut it down early. I can't imagine how he could go 10.50 any other way.

The video stated he shut it down early - you can hear the announcer and you can see it.
