Thanks. The next vid will feature my buddy's '06 Z06 Vette and me hopefully keeping up. The action will consist of dyno, cruising to the track, and the showdown. Dyno is this weekend and hopefully we can go to the track next so the vid should be ready in less than a month. The "Z06 wars" video will be dedicated to the guy on the Syclone forums that said all the cars I raced were slow, LOL. Thanks for watching.

Cool. Glad you liked it. Z06 guy made 424 rear wheel horse and 400 torque on the dyno. Air temp was 94 farenheit and I am sure the car has more in it. I have footage of that but I will wait for some street and track action to combine it with before I make my next vid. Moroso is not open for Test'n'Tune this Friday.
Oh well it gives me time to free up some memory on my pos computer for the editing program to work better and prepare my car also.

 

had me giggling. I like how you just toasted some of those guys. You must have been yelling all the way to the finish. That pumped me up. Its just you over and over again tearing peoples asses. Almost comical. I like how the Lightning did a pretty good job at first, thing looks heavy. I am very interested in the outcome of the Z06 wars, I will tell you I saw a program on history channel about the new Corvette, and I will say that they are no joke. Looks like they left no stone unturned on this one, the Z06 is basically a straight from the track model. If you hang with those boys, we all have something to be proud of. Goodluck OutKast, we are all rooting for you.

 

Thanks, that's very encouraging. The '06 Z06 is actually parked right next to my truck outside right now as I sit in class chatting with the owner about the upcoming race. He just took me for a ride to Burger King on our last break and stopped the car completely in the middle of traffic and lauched with the TC on at 4000 RPM. It moved out of the hole hard and straight and then sideways for the next several seconds all the way down the street halfway on the gas overpowering the 12 inch wide tires the whole time. It is pretty intimidating and more G-forces than I've ever felt period. Although numbers wise my car should be a good match for it, and the guy is down to earth, he'll race anything any time and go all the way to the track to do it right (which is really cool). Every day we rag on the car and test it with the G-tech. It is bone stock with less than 1000 miles. He is learning to drive it more and more. He is already capable of scaring the crap out of me (mr. big racer) and still keep it relatively safe. I don't want to talk too much about it since we still haven't been able to race (Moroso is not available this Friday and next Friday in Thanksgiving). We are ready to go and I promise to give it my best shot and a badass video.

 

Anyone who's been to the track or even in a good street race can relate. On some of the runs when I was a little scared at first, I was yelling when I pulled and beating the steering wheel halfway down the track at 100+ mph. ("Where you going biatch? Come on! Where are you now?") LOL !!! I think I'll freaking crash screaming and jumping if I edge out this Vette

 

Man, those new Z06s mean business, they'll probably be able to crack 500rwhp with a full exhaust, considering that one made 493 with just longtubes. And they're not pigs, either, only 3100lbs.! Good luck on that race, if you pull on him, you'll have beaten a hell of a car!

 

^^^^agreed they are freaking monsters, now dodge has to step up their new vipers of the Vette boys are gonna walk all up and down their asses.

Nice. I think this is one of the better FD videos that show the car producing consistent back-to-back victories. In fairness though, it didn't race against anything in it's league. Still nice to watch.

You have a point. Altough I must say, every single car I raced had either 300 horsepower, or 13 second potential. They made me look good my first time at the track, in the future look for $83k 11 sec 500+ hp cars for a more fair matchup.
