The FD sure was using one of the most important rules of race: Using as much of the track as possible.... and in a few cases, all the track and then some. Of course it all caught up to the driver on that one turn, lol. Supra won in consistency though and that's really what matters in a race: speed and consistency (and reliability but that's, more or less out of the driver's hands WHILE racing). Though the Supra did apex a few corners early and just rode the inside curb until he reached where, I assume, he intended to apex the corner.

It's obvious which car had the most muscle and which one handled better or which driver was more aggressive!

One blocking move is allowed, I didn't see Jack swerving back and forth blocking Steve from passing...

 

The RX7 driver made a few mistakes, the RX7 built up a pretty good lead, then you see a big cloud of dust and the Supra was back on him.

Im very impressed. The supra is putting out close to twice the hp as the 7.

Kind of wish the supra didn't stop when the rx7 passed him that last time.

 

Too bad that whole track wasn't straight...maybe that Supra would have had a chance...HAHA!

 

I think that the Rx7 is the Rotary ,Reliablty and racing . Good Video.

 

Maybe I'm lacking in experience in the CCW direction but those S's before the hairpin are not slow enough to have to let up

Man, that Supra was fast! But the RX-7 was cutting it up! Looks like a good suspension and brake set up took care of the difference in hp

 

I thought it was mostly the driver... car vs car I think the supra was probably the faster built car, but the difference in skill of the driver was what gave the 7 the lead most of the time.
