on 3-20-08 some of you florida guys may know him (John) crashed his 95 toyota supra thursday morning.by the tamiami aiport on 139ct. he lost control on one of his passes and jumped the curb snag his fuel lines and bursted into flames and got airborne for about a 100ft took out a couple of steel mail boxes and 200 pound propane tank (Good thing he had a fire extingusher) and some grease traps and a fence before coming to a stop, good news is no one got hurt and hes okay just a bruise from the seatbelt and a sprung ankle. he is 2 for 2 supras now. here are some pics its also on the supra forums in the florida section. the car is trashed, here are some pics and YES that is a fence pole piercing the passenger side seat. John is an extremely lucky guy.

and we all wonder why these cars are worth $35,000. The guys who own them, have no idea how to drive them, they just have the $$ to buy them, and then crash them... poor car.

how'd he crash it?? racing?? drifting?? i know he just didnt accidently loose control, he must've been trying to get crazy w/ it.

wow, that makes me extremely angry he did that to that car.. i cant stop thinking of what i would give for one of those cars, and to see it dead like that is terrible.

 

over 700HP and that road isnt a prepped track its bumpy, he hopped and put it in 4th gear right as he landed.wrong time to throw a gear. I saw it happen & I couldnt believe it myself.

he was test driving it up and down the street.he just got it tuned the night before.

Well just overnight some parts from japan and make it better.

 

Glad everybody was okay; sad to see a Supra in that condition.

well since he just got it tuned the night b4, and taking it for a test drive, w/ 700HP, he probably was getting crazy w/ it, and he was probably getting into it, and when he hit that bump and shifted, and landed back on the ground, the tires were spinning b4 they hit the ground and he lost control. That's what it sounds like to me.

Not trying "to shift at the wrong time". He knew what he was doing, but he didnt realize his car was a few inches off the ground at the time, and floored, and lost control.

 

another rich boy totals his car.

HE will probably have a better one within 6 months.

 

Since he's ok I suppose it won't hurt to add the obligatory, "That will buff right out!"

thats why you only do highspeed passes on empty highways where you can only hit cement barriers or the woods, not houses and fences and people. ******* moron, serves him right. we can only hope he gets some massive tickets from this.

 

What a ******* assbag. He is probably loaded and mommy and daddy will buy him a faster one next month. Poor Supra.....

they've always been high.. TT or N/A.. regardless of what type of shape its in... but by the time the guys who can afford em get there hands on them, and crash them, there will be none left in the world..

 

i drove a TT supra last night...auto, FMIC...supras are big i like my FDs...
