Actually it all comes down to driver skill and taking proper lines. You can put a Fiesta against a FC on the curves and the Fiesta can still come out a winner.

It looked like all the drivers were of the same skill level, and from the video it seemed like their lines were all pretty good. I think its a pretty good demonstration of stock cars racing eachother. plus the 7 won, you cant complain about that

+1, keep scrolling through the related videos and you'll see the vid of all the SAME cars on the same course and the FC came in last. If they were all separate time attack runs then you could use it as a way to judge the cars' performance levels.
