Here is the low down. The car ran 10psi or so the frst 3 races, and we turned it up to 12.7 the last one. They didn't believe us so after the race ended and were in our pit, they came over and asked to see the peak hold. I let them see, and their comment was something like...damn that **** is fast for 12lbs.

The hp numbers were made up, because I never gave them that stat for the show. I know at 14lbs it makes 426rwhp on a mustang dyno. We did a pull to 26psi, but the motor chipped a seal, and the computer didn't log the run so I don't know what it makes at 26psi. I rebuilt half the motor (yeah it's ghetto, but with like 5 days before the race, I didn't want to use new stuff and re-break in the motor so I used old parts. plus it was cheap) and we just ran it lower to see what it would do. Matt had never driven the car down the 1/4 so his first run showed that. By the 4th race, I would say he was getting it down pretty good.

So in reality, yeah we were sandbagging...we had alot more in the car. We just didn't need it

The motor has my race port in it. Internals are stock, and all cryo treated. After the last run, the coolant temp was 295F, and the car wouldn't start because the fuel was so thin. After it cooled down, she fired right up and still starts just fine

The full race guys said during the show that if they won, they would drift it until it blew up, then shove an LS1 into her...she didn't like that. They lost before we begun...

They don't give times, but we timed it during the unedited dvd that we have, and it looks like it is a low 12 second pass...about 12.2-12.4 is what we all kinda agree to. that's at 12.7lbs too

I am going to sell my drag car. Matt is selling his FC on ebay because he is going to build his FD. I plan to get an old school rotary, deuce or r100 and get crazy with it. Matts FD is going to be retardly fast

Funnt thing is that if they didn't fake the NOS, then I wouldn't have required so many lengths...they kinda screwed themselves. They could have gotten more room without the bottle, but then I would have just run more boost

I finally got to see it and you guys did a great job.

It looks like you really nailed that last launch and it was the perfect finishing blow.

Yeah, I agree, the last launch was crazy. The civic had four cars on him, and that was made up before he got out of first.

Yeah the Honda-Tech guys are amazing. They think the FC is a 14 second car. They had an actual drag car driver. Matt is no such thing, and neither am I. He had practice in his car, we didn't. I think Matt did pretty good getting used to the car and track in 4 passes haha. The **** they say is amazing. The reruns start Tuesday, and will replay alot over the next few months.

After the 2nd race, and we saw them run supposedly with and without nitrous, the car did the same thing. Whatever...the end result still remains...we won and they didn't... We are getting a new bender and notcher for the shop with some of the cash off their car to replace our old stuff
