Story: Was just returning from my buddy's garage where I was working on my street ported 'vert...which as luck would have it had been hit by a stolen car several weeks prior. On the way back to my condo, driving up my parking garage, idiot in white vehicle hits me.

He's drunk (in my opinion) and an insurance agent to boot and tries to talk me out of calling the cops. I'm dressed like **** because I've been working on my car and this guys offers me $200 to not call the cops. Oh yea, his dumb bitch yells at me, "Do you even have car insurance?"

Apparently because I have grease all over me, this dipshit does not comprehend that if I'm parking there, that I can afford to live in one of the more expensive places in our city...but I digress.

So while I call the cops, he and his wife decide to leave...with his wife driving now. Both the parking garage attendant and I tell him he's on video but he still leaves...so now it is a hit and run (and we write down his license plate).

So his insurance company dodges me for a month until I finally let them know there is a video...next day they offer me 3k for my "totaled" car. Mind you there was no damage to the car except for the front bumper and left fender and I've been driving it every day...no frame damage.

So I ask them how much to keep the car and they offer me $2200 and a clean title. Considering I paid a lot less than that for the car I immediately agreed! *Thumbs Up*

So in the end it all worked out, but here's the video for anyone who cares.

Lots of lawyers like that where I live. They think because they live on "The Island", which they are referencing Banbridge Island, WA, they are untouchable.

man, thats good it worked out for ya, haha it looked like those guys were gonna hop in and move it so they could get out haha.

i think Florida may have the biggest ratio of bad drivers on the east coast...i've been in so may close calls with my FD, mostly on the highway. allways getting cut off and almost side swiped.

at least now you've got some money to buy some parts

Man you are lucky that it all turned out ok. A porta potty got blown over onto my car while I had it parked on a job location. It put a dent in the back pannel. It hit right in a body line near the trunk. My ex-boss wouldn't fix it for me. That **** head is a millionare and he wouldn't get it fixed. So you got really lucky.
