Rotary Amuse Photoshoot (Large Pics)
my girlfriend and i washed our cars together yesterday and decided to take mine out for a photoshoot. she has a degree in graphic design and is a free lance photographer, but i commandeered her camera for a majority of the shoot. so this is my first attempt at an 'artistic' auto photoshoot. i also tried my hand at PhotoShop for the first time as well, but to no avail. too many options for me to figure out. all photos were taken with a Cannon EOS Digital Rebel XT.
please let me know what you think; positive or negative feedback (as long as it's constructive criticism.) I have bigger pictures available (3456 x 2304) if anyone wants them. Thanks, Enjoy.

thanks a lot guys. the hood is actually a Rotary Extreme N1, which is a replica of RE Amemiya's AD9 (i believe?) hood. for a replica, the fitment was great. some adjustments were made, but it wasnt too bad from the shop. the sign in the first picture is actually for a 3 exit rotary; i just photoshopped the arrow out. i figured it was the token 'rotary' picture, and it was in the area of where we were shooting, so why not, right? the black on black look is good for me right now, keeps me a little under the radar as far as attention from cops and bystanders go (not that i drive like an idiot on the street, i just dont appreciate the harassment.) the look im going for is also a modest, humble look that doesn't draw too much attention. if people see it and know what it is, that's the attention i want. if people browse right by it, not a problem at all. its built for no one but me anyways. as for the rims, i have a lot more mods to go before i move onto the rims (dual oil coolers, single turbo, street ported motor, widened fenders, etc.) i dont wanna rush into rims and buy a set just to put them on. i want to wait til everything else is right and then buy a really nice set. ive been wanting to jump into 5Zigens, but it's not what i really want so i dont really want to waste the money. despite the hood and side skirts, this car is being built for function before form in all aspects; and although a light set of rims and great tires would work awesome right now, im just not that far on the build process yet.
thanks a lot guys for your time, for checking out the pictures, and for your kind words. again, constructive criticism is always welcome- whether its on the photography or the car itself.
thanks much

Very good pictures and those rebels are nice cameras, i am just on the other side of the cannon fence. also i think the wheels complement the look and you can tell you have taste over just throwing on some wheels you didnt want and look terrible. plus those things are light enough as is. good car

go reify- rotary amuse is a name i came up with 4 years ago when i bought my RX-7; no real team other then me and my RX-7 and Legacy. what i currently do with Rotary Amuse is time attacks, autocrosses, and the occasional car show in my RX-7 and TSD Road Rallies in my Legacy; which even though it has a Boxer motor, still bears the Rotary Amuse name. it's like how people have a team name vehicle, i have the Rotary Amuse RX-7 and Rotary Amuse Legacy. i have no desire to expand or to actually make a team; other then the one racer i have and need, me. i love how the guy on the silvia's wearing a Boston Red Sox hat; good stuff! thanks for the compliment.
darkknightfc- ive never actually thought about using tire shine on the front lip. sounds like a great idea. ill have to do that next time i take her out.
thanks for the compliments, guys. anymore techniques i can improve on to make the shots better?
