nice, that was quick, looks like on his shift into 2nd he went a little sideways. Probally could pull a low 7 run with a perfect run.

A 7.93 to a low 7? That is probably a little optimistic.

I think Dee's car has a mid to low 7 in it but not the way it was setup on that run

Damn. That's amazing. What kinda tranny/clutch is he using? Dogmission? Cuz that sounds like the absolute fastest shifting I've ever heard (if it's on a regular tranny)

No offence and just so you know. From what I understand Russel (the guy you see standing in the video) has a large role in tuning Dee's car. Let's give creidt where credit is due.

I have sat back for the past couple of weeks while people from a certain group have taken staps at me, so I feel it is about time I have spoken up.

What ever you do don't compliment Dee the pfs gang might get upset. LOL

Face it FD3boost you can't take it when someone compliments me it makes your skin crawl. That makes me laugh because this will be bothering you for a long time cause i am in this racing game for the long haul and you have to sit back and keep watching it, and it drives you nuts.

The gentlmen complimented me on my tuning and you think you are uncovering some sort of conspiracy that Rus tunes my car and that I don't. Do you have any idea what it takes to run a pro car. I have a great team and I know how much we have accomplished together and we're improving every race. It's no secret that Rus is a great guy and a great tuner and we make a great team. We have both been able to accomplish what few other rotary tuners have. Can I tune? Well there is a ton of 10 and 11 sec street cars and a couple of eight second race cars that appreciate my services despite how bad you try to bad mouth me.

I am inviting you to come to the track with me in st luis this weekend to see what it takes to run a pro team and see what it is I actually do. You really need to open your eyes and be more respectfull to the people that are trying keep the 13b on the map .

I doubt you will take any of my advice so I look forward to reading your future digs.

Dee

Dee
I am definitely one of the guys that appreciate Dee's help when it comes to tuning. I can only comment on my experience.

I was very familiar with the haltech system and how everything worked. When I went with the TEC unit, there is only so much you can learn from the manual. I started emailing Dee a while back and each time I got a response. I actually pm'd others but Dee was the only one that responded with answers. Also, Keep in mind I did not buy the unit from him and I race with another shop.

We then started talking via IM and each time I had a question, I not only got the right answer but I did not feel like I was bothering him. He was very open to help.

When I was having some problems and wanted to run the car the next day at the track, Dee went ahead and sent me one of his maps to compare of use if needed.

With my last map since I changed the injectors, Dee advised to send to him so he can look it over and make sure I am not making any mistakes anywhere.

I was on the dyno and experiencing a breakup. I called Dee at 2am and left a message, I got a call back in a few min with some advice. I then got another call an hour later to find out how things are going.

I can tell you that when it comes to Electromotive and a rotary, Dee knows his stuff and is willing to help. If anyone out there would like to get a TEC3, you can see why I would highly recommend you get the unit through Dee. I think we should support those who help the little guys that are just trying to go fast.

Just my 2 cents...

Anthony

I am another guy who was tuned by dee. I had many people tune my car and after having dee tune my car, ill never go elsewhere. Hes the best. Because of my lack of driving skill last weekend with a horrible 2.2 60f/t time on 18 inch volk wheels, i was only able to run a 11.20 pass @ ....... 132mph. thanks dee. next week im goin on et streets to get my 1.5 60 f/t and get my self well into the tens. Bye the way, no rus has ever seen my car.

Thumbs down

What's up Rotor Dee, Find one post on any forum where I have said one bad word about you?? Search dude and let me know where I have dragged your name in the mud in any way. I think you might have me wrapped up in some **** that does not really involve me from the sounds of it. All I have said, and I can link you to both posts (two, one here and one in nopistons on Bobbys thread) All I said that Russ helps tune your car here and that Russ is a wiz at tuning in the nopistons. Is there something wrong for saying that? It's the truth. If that is not supposed to be some big secret then why are your panties all in a bunch over me mentioning it? Just because I mention Russ doesn't mean I am taking a stab at you.

Now if you have a problem with Ray or Ernie or who the **** ever then take it up with them and please get off my ***. You are silent when Ernie posts, someone who might actually have something to say to you, But i mention that you are not the only guy working on your race car and you want to jump in to my ****. Give me a break man. Your barking up the wrong tree.

If and when I ever feel like talking **** to you It won't be done over the internet. If I want to heckle you I'll show up at MIR and do it in person. Is there anything about me that leads you to believe that I am not a stand up guy? I think I have kept my nose clear of any dirt slinging even though I have heard a lot of it. Like I said don't tie me in to a bunch of bullshit that isn't mine.

As far as your team. Best of luck, Any rotary doing well is good news to me. I have no axe to grind so be a guy and lay off the soap opera routine.

-Dave

And yes i have to agree, Dee has helped me greatly with tuning advice when it came time for me to tune my Microtech since i have no local tuner.. i have only met a couple of known rotary guys that are willing to help other rotorheads (Dee,Ito) without guys like this alot of us would be lost, pissing our money out the window and losing faith in our beloved rotaries......... i greatly appreciate these guys.
